Hardest wearing tyres???

I used acceleras on the mazda, good smokes, cheap as chips, and i didnt kill a set in the ~2 months i had them.. obviously i wasnt trying hard enough.. but the tyres i was using before i killed in two weeks of the same driving..
I liked them that much (for a daily), im ordering another set!!

ok, i did not write that well.

there is no standard on this. Each manufacturer chooses the all around tyre he is making and give it a 100 rating.

so 100 from toyo who mostly make soft compound is really a lot softer than michelin 100.

You can only use that rating to compare the tyres of ONE manufacturer between themselves.

Which is clearly pointless.
 
its still usefull though.

i mean if a manufactures rates the tyre as soft then you'll be able to steer clear of it. excuse the FAIL pun.

just like to add that ive ordered some sunny's from mytyres.co.uk.

i ordered them on tuesday and ive still not recieved the tracking number. i needed the tyres for friday. sent them an e-mail and guess what.

they have them in stock BUT there sending them out on friday.

lame!
