As a whole, the 'drift scene' cant seem to get its act together on its own, so the tracks closing is going to force drifters to actually look at their cars/their driving and actually take pride in it and do something about it.
Short term, its crap that tracks are closing but long term; with stricter rules in place and vetting, scrutineering etc. it'll filter out the utter knobbery and allow the UK scene to grow.
Driftland are already starting to imply certain rules such as 'have a car with bumpers' ... i mean seriously; does this have to be a rule for people to adhere to it? This is how far behind we are.
