how hard is your suspension?

Tell me about it. :wack:

I'd like to know the stiffness settings too pls

Does this mean HR are the pikey version ? or just for a specific purpose?

Please advise further high command :worthy:

If the car skips up & down over bumps then the suspension is not doing its job, simple as that.

Good point, Lotus said it best with 'The suspension should breath with the road', but I suppose on a drift track car, super stiff is the way forward :smokin:

H & R Sport (Progressive)
Front:2.0-2.08kg/mm | 112~116 lbs/in | -1.3"
Rear: 2.5-2.6kg/mm | 140~145 lbs/in | -1.3"

Das mine innit :) HnR - 40mm with KYB AGX shocks set @ 6 back 2 front :D

Ride is nice, fast road, not too bad, little bumpy on shit roads but not "phil bang your loaf on the roof" bad no where near ;) :D :D :D

probably crap for drifting though - too soft  :dermal:

with stiff suspension you just have to know the road and steer before the bumps, its not perfect but does the trick for me. the lower the better too, sparks are pimp as!

thats the idea, you steer first, then when you're in the air you're already going the right direction :wack:

my starlet currently runs 300lb front on bilstein struts(converted to 2 1/4"coil overs by me!!)and 100lb rear on spax 221 coil over units.as for the damper settings i change them accordin to track conditions(wet/dry bumpy/smooth!) oh n wen last weighed she was 800k no driver!!

Ahh So. I'm off to the for sale section to get me wings then...

Ps, bit of a thread hijack but What's this "Night Spirit" thing? I'm new to the drifting community and I'm seeing it all over the place, love the haichi/burt thing

 i`ve got 9kg on the front and 7kg on the rear in a stripped out s14. :D
only driven it 2 or 3 times but when i go down a mildly bumpy road it makes me need a piss
in fact, maybe that`s how stiff suspension should be gauged......
amount of fluid in bladder x number of bumps in road - time taken for 'pissy feeling' to be induced = suspension stiffness. :D

Set to 8 on my AGXs all the time. Thats 233% more than stock for compression and re-bound but thats with stock springs, the lowered Eibachs are firmer than standard so the ride is probably harder still.

How are you guys working this out in KG?

I have a set of Tein Flex on my s13, so 5f & 4r and the EDFC is normally on quite soft. I find the rear a tad hard on some of the roads around here, esspecially speed bumps, but the front seems fine

On smoother roads there are great though. :D
