How long do Driftworks lower arms normally last?

had my complete set of arms for 2 years no problems at all, the rubber boots have all fallen off but thats hardly surprising

If you want the rubber boots to last longer paint them with tyre wall black when you install them. Also lube the jounts with silicone grease (the red stuff) not ordinary grease which rots the rubber used in aftermarket jounts.

I've got them on my car but on the fronts one side has got a ridicuosly stiff ball joint on the outside end (where taper goes up into knuckle). I had the lower arm attached to the car with just tension rod, shock and knuckle and it was ridicuosly stiff trying to turn the hub lock to lock.

I got them 2nd hand and at the time I had just assumed it would free up after a while seeing as most balljoint related stuff tends to slacken up after a while but it is still stiff as hell after alot of driving and drift days. The car has really weird steering for an s-body and I've driven quite a few now, you have to self steer it loads when on a shallow/mid angle and feels like the steering isn't keeping up with the angle your drifting at. The alignment is setup on it so it should self steer. Now wondering if it's down to that one stiff ball joint as I've tried everything else.

I want a PBM lower arm/tension rod combo, the quality looks loads better and tension rod moved.

ive had my DW lower arms for 3 years now the rears are mint no problems with them
how ever the fronts on the other hand ive had to replace both front outter bearings three times
and then got pee'd of and replaced them with stock s14 arms with DW poly bushes when i changed to
s14 setup on the front.

Where and how did you change the front bearings? As that is what mine need doing. Although ill probs just change to the nismo ones

Where did you get the bearing to replace them from?

Edit.. Just checked the date when I had the arms fitted and it was only 10 months ago! :(
