new to the forum

Hi everyone, as the title says, I´m new to the forum, I find it very useful, I got an AE86 a few months ago and recently got interested into drifting, I´m trying to learn the basic stuff and I think the AE86 is a very good starter car for this motorsport, hope to get some hel or tips on what mods to do on this car while still staying within the budget of a family man LOL

Hey Drifters:thumbs:, names Lance, from London. New to driftworks an all this forum stuff but i`ve heard so much about driftworks, thought i better jump in on the action. Last year i brought a 1.4 Volvo 340 with a welded diff, gas shocks, bucket seats and a LOUD exhaust,.... the most fun car i`ve ever had:dw:. Bt due to lack of power it`s Impossible to drift on a dry road. So i`ve jus got my hands on a bog standard 200sx S13, was hoping Driftworks could help me find some afordable parts, tips and places to practice

hi all.nick here from nottingham.had drift motor for year and half now and only done a couple of drift days due to cashflow probs.things on the up now and time for more power and bit more drifting.i drive a striped out decked 16 valve 340 as my daily and have a 24 valve cossie sierra for the drift days.both will be for sale soon to fund a drift car.like the look of stavs c230.

Hi folks! I'm Luc from Luxembourg/Europe. Just registered here, cause I think I'm ready now for a fun, reliable daily drifter. In other words, I need to have fun again with a car on a daily basis. I drove a K-Car as daily until some old fart thought he should shorten it a little more... Well, it's a good reason to get something with more bhp and rwd.

I also have an R34 GT-R that I only drive when weather is sunny... ;) Hate me for that, I don't care!

So hopefully I will meet people here on the forums that don't take life too serious and can have a good laugh instead.

Sorry for my poor English, I'm taking lessons from my girlfriend, it will get better! ;)

New to rwd

Hi everyone, im mat. Ive been in to jap cars for quite some time now but my history is dotted with fwd stuff like DC5 integra's and EK 9 civic's etc. Lots of friends have jap rwd's and have tempted me to make the change. Being that Honda arent that big in the world of rwd im looking outside my usual comfort zone at R33's, 1JZ soarers or 300zx and anything else along these lines but i have always like something thats a little outside the norm and a bit different. If anyone has any ideas as what could be a good base vehicle to start with then id like your input. Not after much, just potential to modify, fairly reliable, jap and rwd

Cheers guys

Mat

Drifting is still not that big a thing in Denmark, but hopefully it will be sometime soon :D

Hi. Name Andrey, live in London, but arrived from Kazakhstan (probably u may heard about it... remember Boradt) :)
first car was WRX MT, when i was 18, thus all later rides were only with turbo engine. at my home country i currently have 90jzx chaser TT on R154 transmission, fcon, the car was custom in HDO motor shop in japan. to be honest find some difficulties writing specs in english. we have a bit different tuning slang in russian :)
was looking forward to take part in Kazakhstani drift competitions, but moved in london and probably gonna miss them.
