I'd probably start off learning in something a bit less expensive as if you crash it (which is highly likely as a beginner) then you'll be crying all the way to the bank :(

You'll learn tonnes, theres plenty of BMW guys on the forum (myself included) and we're all willing to give advice where needed, start a build thread and ask any questions in there, if you get no response just ask in the technical section, make sure you do a quick search before you do though cus some people can get annoyed at the same question being asked over and over (bit like my mum :P)

More of a reintroduction, but I'm new here. When I was a much younger man, I made some rather uninformed and uninsightful posts. So now I'm older, got a car, learned how to hold a spanner, and about quality parts. I'm here to learn more about drifting, broaden my tastes and get a fresh perspective. Nice to meet you all.

I have no experience in drifting, but will practice hard to get some good results.

Hi all, new to the forum, but not to drifting, thought i'd drop a post to introduce myself.

i'm Matt, 23, live in Lincolnshire UK, and currently my slider is a 1991 mx5 1.6. Not as big and fancy as others, but gets the job done. it's pretty much standard, just got an exhaust on, but have plenty of plans in the pipeline for it, as this is our 3rd car, it only gets used for fun, so am thinking about taking it off the road for the winter and giving it a bit of a rebuild, so hopefully next year will bring bigger and better things.

Anyway, i'm rambling now.

Look forward to speaking to you all,

see you around, Matt:wave:
