Hello everyone!
I have always be interested in drift... I never have time and resources to become one of you. Now, I'm owner of car workshop, and used parts retailing center. Additionally - I have access to any part in good prices so I've decided to start my adventure with drift. I haven't choose car yet but I'm pretty sure that you'll help me :)

Afternoon all,
My name is Jake, Yep you guessed it, I'm new here and I am based in Manchester UK.

First and foremost, i'll get the brown nosing out of the way!
I am a member of many online car forums and have been a long time lurker of this forum always browsing the build threads and for sale section (mainly during work hours!) and without a doubt this is definitely the best i have ever visited. And this is due to a number of things; Firstly how well the website is constructed and maintained is a big bonus, how helpful members are to each other is really good to see and generally the sense of comradery is inimitable and something i have never come across at any other forum. So with all this in mind i decided to become a member.

I am a design engineer by trade based in manufacturing so i spend most of my day playing with 3D models on computers. The majority of my manufacturing knowledge surrounds sheet metal fabrication, moulding/casting and some basic CNC programming. I am hoping these skills will enable me to complete my first proper project in the next year or so, I just need to get my old man's work space cleared and sorted with some new equipment, first on the list is a new welder!

As my car history goes i have been messing about with VW's and Audi's since i started driving! I nearly had a brief encounter with an EP3 civic type R when i was looking into buying my last car but decided against it due to them being a little to brash for me! Don't get me wrong the K20 heart had me waving my money high in the air but i just wasn't a fan of the whole package! So i went and bought a low milage TDi A4 instead! I know how interesting...
Anyway this is now my daily and is running rather well @ 220bhp and 450nm which is pretty damn good from a 1.9tdi 8v coal machine.

As mentioned previously i am looking into starting my first project in 2016, I have no previous experience with drifting on track, i have never owned a Jap car or even a RWD car myself previously, I haven't decided yet whether i want to pursue the stereotypical drift machine or go down the route of something a little stranger yet as i have been doing allot of reading and research into the Scandinavian drift scene recently and i love that they create some crazy frankenstein vehicles with whatever they have available to them. My main influence has been ALM Racing everything those guys produce is mental!

With all that in mind any help/info/ideas on what would be a good first drift project would be much appreciated.

So i guess that's my intro done definitely wasnt short and sweet! I will be posting a little more in the near future when i get things a little more sorted and have something interesting to share with you all as i know the last thing you guys will find interesting is a TDi A4!

Hello everybody, My name is Henry and I am from California(United States). I am 18 years old and a first year college student. I own a 1978 Dodge Colt, 4 speed, 1.6 liter. As of right now I am in the process of getting the car running and driving. My plans for the car are to turn it into a daily/drifter. Once I get the actual build going( I have no idea when that will begin, hopefully soon lol) I will start by deciding whether I am going to keep the rear leaf springs or lean how to convert that over to coilovers. Then I will get go to the engine. I do not plan on doing an engine swap because i plan on working with the stock engine to see how much hp I can get out of it. I will be posting my build in the project section.

Hi

Im Ewan been Drifting for a month. (so not sure if you can call it drifting yet)
My car is a Lexus is200 relatively standard at the moment bar coilovers, bucket seat and a hydro.

I'm Shorty :) 25. Chick. I'm obsessed with cars. I've been intrigued by drifting for a few years now and started working on my own proj.

I have a 91 miata 1.6 na that I've put a ton of cosmetic work into but now that I've gotten more comfortable with building I want to upgrade her for this next drift season. I'd love to hear about everyone's builds. Go big or go sideways right ;)

Afternoon All, Liam 23. Own a S15, looking for the usual help/advice which a forum offers.

Lets see where my build takes me!

Hi there, I'm some bum from the west coast (Oregon) of the U.S. I'm visiting the UK early next summer and want to get in touch with some locals. I'm an amateur builder and driver, but have been active as a volunteer on the local drift circuits. I drive an "84 Nissan Z Turbo that's my fun one, "85 Nissan Z 2+2 N/A that's my daily, and a "71 Dodge Dart that's getting turned into a bastard child of Euro sports car and American boldness. Ill be visiting Driftland in June, but if there's anything else happening around that time, I'd be happy to hear.

Hi there !

I'm Greg, 34 and I live in Lille, France. I own a Nissan RS13 but my CA18DET engine has low comp so it needs a rebuild.
I aim about 250/300bhp for street/track use.

Hi everybody, im jayden from Australia. I Recently bought an ADM s14 200sx as my daily, i am slowy building it as a fun little project looking to build it to about 200-220kw (curently only making 150kw). I have always been into the drift scene but only recently decided to get my ass into gear and have begun looking for a suitable car to build as my first track car to learn to drift in.
Cheers.

Hi
