Introduce yourself here :)

Howdy :)
I'm Scott I'Anson, no team at the mo, started drifting at Turweston and been hooked ever since  (Still not won 1 :) )
Current Motor is a lairy scarey Tr8, the power is great but the handling is as 70's as Dirty Harry :D

See you at the next comp

Scott.

Matt Scolding. Owner of the RBd Sileighty - shortly to go to the drift heaven up above following a smack in April.
Been watching enthusiastically for a while now and decided Id like to have a go. Been doing the show car thing/spending money on style for too long and got too worried to actually "drive" the car, so no sideways action for over 2.5 years. That was until this month where I happened to have a go in my newly acquired S14. After talking to the TNS boys after each D1 round at the pub the S14 was a logical choice - even if the S13 had nearly every bit of suspension replaced 20 miles before I smacked it :(

Anyways - My main aim is to get through to the 2nd round of Clubman at D1 this year. I need as much practice as possible and it looks like Ill spend most of my time on Motorways to get to them LOL:D

Ive asked Phil if I can be his protege, but Im not sure he'd want to taint his image that much :D

So far Im enjoying it, which is what its all about after all, isnt it. Even the 360s ;)

Hope to meet a few more peeps on my travels.

Im the one in the white S14 - stripped, std ish suspension (lowered on KYBs), exh, filter. SO you can see - the car is not only lacking driver talent, but mods aswell :D Running about 240bhp I guess. Enough to make me spin anyways...

See ya all soon :)

 Sam McLean - only really found out about the whole drifting thing through stuff on sxoc and links to other places a wee while before i bought my s13, which incidentally was pretty much a direct result of going for a spin in shaiz's 200 at crail at the end of last year. also seeing midgers and ade do their stuff on crail's oval around the same time really opened my eyes up to it all. got my car on the road at the beginning of may and the day after she was finished i did my 1st(and as yet only) drift practice day at crail, where i spun. lots. and did a lot of damage to my clutch in the process. so once that is sorted and i have any money whatsoever i'll be right back up to crail to practice more (big thanks to cath for organising these days btw).

pretty standard spec for now being a student and all, just a stainless exhaust, apex springs, powerflex rear bushes, s14 vlsd and plenty rust for the moment.

ambitons - to spin less and not be as crap.

Steve Dunn, just to confuse matters more with my username (that's a long boring story).

Obsessed with drift for past year or two, but not actually entered an event yet. Have made it into Max Power spectating though!!! (Don't ban me :( )

Matt_S is pestering me to enter the next NW with him to make himself look better ;) :D I have a garage full of tyres and a car waiting to be tested, so I guess I've run out of excuses to not go :(

Do you smell the fear?!!! :p

Drive 98 Blue S14a, with some stuff on it that makes it go quick and hopefully drift alright. Weakest link of the car so far is the driver :D

Hi im Rob, if your from sxoc you probley know who i am.

Can't wait to start drifting first session booked on the 15th! :D

hope it goes well

Alright all, Jon and I have always liked throwing cars about! Deciding its time to start doing it properly and safely :D !!! so have just purchased a 32 GTST to learn to drift in. Am an absolute newbie and as soon as i can will be signing up to some practice sessions. Can't wait!

Fredrik Soerlie from Norway. Member and founder of Kamikaze Drifters, chairman of Drift Club Norway, and probably the only really active drifter in Norway.

I just met some of you guys at Silverstone and Birmingham, and really felt welcome. So now I register on every UK forum, just to hold on to the good feeling I got when I was hanging with you guys :D

Allthough Birmingham was my fifth drifting event ever, I'm not really a stranger to the motorsport scene. I've been involved in racing (and some rallying) for the last 15 years. Last year I decided to try drifting, and I loved it. My previous drifting experience comes from years of sliding around in absolutely anything with wheels in the Norwegian winter...

I drive a 1984 Corolla GT (Levin Coupé) that used to be a Gr. A rallycar. About 180bhp and full rollcage and stuff. Stock gearbox atm, but the Quaife unit is going back in. I also need to replace the gravel dampers with some harder short stroke tarmac units to get rid of the bouncyness that Nomura didn't like :p

Hi

Im Jon,

Got in to jap cars through spending a year or so helping out at GPS where I met Mitto  , hes one of the bad influences that got me in to drifting my 96 gtst mspec2, its got a few footwork and engine mods ;) and is running about 300 at the wheels which has been enough to keep me sideways so far..

I've been to some of the D1 events as a spectator with camcorder in hand and really want to get my ass down to some practice days to drift in relative safety instead of road junctions and carparks in the dead of night... the old bill dont like me much lol.

Aim : Get good enough to join TNS (mitto - i need some lessons) and to compete in the amateur rounds at least, oh and trying not to blow anything up while doing it.

Hello. I'm Steve Carter, fairly well known on the SXOC I guess.:)

Been into drifting for a couple of years or so but only this year started to have a go properly. I'm still learning but some of its starting to come together as the last D1 round unfortunately proves. Ive now got to compete with the likes of Phil, Mitto and Paz. Arse, I'm never gonna win anything again. :p

I'm trying to get to as many drifty events as possible but lack of sponds dictates when and where. I could get a job I spose.:)

James Hudson. Started drifting about two years ago then stopped after I blew up my car  Now it's fixed and I've got a new job I'm defo getting my arse in gear!! I'm based in London, where there are not enough places to drift :(

Steve Brooks .. hugely into dori for a couple of years now... have been to see lots of it out in Japan but not managed to get to see the UK D1 stuff. Looking forward to meeting up with you guys :)

Drives - Re-Amemiya prepared FD3S RX7 .. with a few bits n bobs

Andy Carey

New to the SXOC, just sold a 92 GTiR for a 99 S14a. Stage 1 mods, 225@fly on standard boost. Fell in love with the whole jap street racing scene about 5 years ago. And now totally obsessed with the drift scene. Still at the beginner stage of KEIICHI TSUCHIYA's drift bible lol.

Post as PSperformance on SXOC, and CAZ on GTIROC.

Hello

Nick Jennings, general car fanatic, have recently started to get interested in the drifting scene (cos of my mate H), even though I can't drift for toffee :o

Drive: 97 black S14a slightly tweaked to give 300 @ the wheels :D

Jim Arnold, SXOC loon and web admin, been interested in the drifting scene for sometime but too busy building my car to have tried yet :)

Drive: '89 S13 beater with exhaust/filter/t28
'92 S13 project car with a spec list bordering on the exhaustive
'91 Supra turbo which I might use just to be different

Hello lads,
Sean here from Ireland...........drove the R33 Skyline with RSR graphics at B,Ham Wheels and enjoyed every minute of it.Followed all types of motorsport ever since I can remember and I reckon the Drifting scene is getting bigger and bigger in Europe and its great to be part if it.
Good luck with the site

Stuart Bayliss of no team because I smell of wee :(

got into drifting when I went to a practice in my old 14a to learn how to control the car properly... and got hooked

currently driving a reasonably battered looking facelift grey S13 and very much working on the go before even thinking about the show.

the car has improved gratly since my 3-wheel action at the 1st round on 120K standard shocks to the full coilovers.

plans for this year are to keep pushing, keep practicing, keep progressing & to find a team that will take me in (despite my stench)

Tim Wright - Japmobiles.com / JapUKMeets admin. Been into drifting for a few years but never actually got around to doing it

Drive: FD3S just been sold to make way for an S13

BanjoMaster, originally Christened Graham Carracher

Been dangerously, all-consumingly obsessed with drift and the Japanese tuning scene for approx 5 years now. I have owned Ant from SXOC's S13 for 13 days, but haven't had it sideways yet. I have big, BIG plans for the car and I've already begun the hunt for a 180SX SR20DET :)

I work for a fibreglass company just outside Glasgow too, so if any of you have any suggestions on how I could be useful to the scene, I'd be more than happy to hear them :D
