Introduce yourself here :)

Hi there my name is Alice, I just came home from JDM Allstars show @ Trafford Centre and I think drifting will be my new addiction from now on ;)
Thanks for creating such a huge base with everything bout driftin!

What's going on guys?

I drift a '91 MR2 That I call the Red Typhoon. I'm experienced in road racing but fairly new to drifting. But in the past few years since I started it's become a passion and obsession of mine. I live in Cleves Ohio, It's just outside of Cincinnati. Me and my buddy are trying to form a drift team, He has a '93 240.
We live for Initial D. And that's the style of racing we do. So, If anyone from our area wants to put together a team with us feel free to contact me.

Hi there
:) always read these forums but never been active there since now

I'm from Switzerland and i would like to be more involved in drifting, i've always been in the motorsport since 5 years now and would like to goes into drifting to make it a try. Driftworks is the most popular and the most active forum about drifting and i'll be happy to be a part of it from now :)
I'm 28yo and i'm (re)building a skyline at the moment in order to have a lot of seat time and practice this year to compete next year in some events.

Anyway, congratulations to the staff for all youve done here and to promote drifting in such a large community of people around the world.

Hi all!

I've been fan of drifting ever since the movie Tokyo drift came out. I never thought that they would drift in europe for an official competition.
I was soooo wrong!!! I just saw the first round of the ODC and i never felt so excited about drifting as i do now.
When i came home i just rushed to the internet to find great drift sites. And thats how i got here.

Here is some personal information about myself.

I am Patrick de Hollander 23 years old, i am from the netherlands. I have a great passion about car sports. Mostly i visit rally's but i visit some circuit races aswell.
As long as a car has a bar cage in it i will watch it and enjoy it :)

I also have my own website were i publish my movies: www.hollandermedia.nl

Hey everyone, I'm Pez, I've been on DW forum for a year or so but until now only really mixed with the other DW forum membrs at work, not really been on the forum much. I drive a track prep'd carbon Z32 twin turbo amongst several other (8 in fact) jap imports ranging from my Toyota Hilux Surf - various Z31/Z32's- Jap MPV's and the mrs' Nissan Wingroad.
Still living the dream....

Hi Everyone

This is DerDer, im 18, living in Hungary. ATM im an exchange student in the states.
I started to interest in Jap cars, when I was at Australia many years ago. Every day, at the beach, I could see skylines, supras etc. passing by in every minute, it was crazy! I wish I lived there :D
In Hungary there's not much goin on, and most drifters use old bmws, which I dont really fancy :(. Anyway, I dont know much about cars yet, but I already know that I wont be the biggest car tech guy either. I rather enjoy driving them, and knowing the basics, then being in the garage 24/7.

In 2 years, I'm planning to go to a Danish college, and who knows, I might end up living in the UK

Hey, I'm Rob Bradley (rob.brad). Have loved drifiting for about ...7years now, but have only just bought my 1st RWD car!! (From the driftworks forums  ). Get to pick it up on Saturday so will soon let the fun begin! Hope to attend some DWYB days this year and try and get the hang of sliding to an extent by the end of the year.

This is also my first post on these forums after being a member for however long...and my girlfriend says I'm slow?

Hey all, long time lurker first time poster crawling out of the woodwork. I've been into drifting for several years now - first event I went to was one of the D1 rounds at Rockingham back in the day. Been to a few since then, and really liking the vibe of this year's BDC. Made it along to round 1; loved it and aiming to get along to round 3 as well.

I'm 22 and currently a student in central London, so don't have much use for a day-to-day car - it lives back home with my folks. Moving out to the Uni's Hertfordshire campus in just over a year though, and will have space to keep and work on a car, so hoping to get something appropriate for some amateur skidding then - mx5, s-body, 3 series... something like that, you lot know the score. Had a bit of track/rally experience, but most of that was in a budget track prepped saxo that I built with my old man for a laugh a year or so ago. As far as right wheel drive goes, I've done a few rally days in 'scorts and 'rollas too.

My car at the moment, that I've had for a couple of years now is a mk1 MR2. Love it's '80s boxyness, cracking handling and screamy little 4age. Pretty standard apart from a Scorpion stainless backbox and some pretty rare (in this fitment/offset at least) 14" TOM'S Igetas that I've had blasted and powdercoated satin gold. Have some pretty pics in the sun:

Looking forward to getting to know you lot a bit better, and perhaps bumping in to you at some BDC events this year

Oh, and here's an arty shot of me reflected in some glass

Hello my name is Bryan. I am from the United States. I have been lurking around on the DW site for months and joined a few weeks ago. Just now got to the intro. I have a s14 that I am in the middle of the long build process. I am 21. I enjoy sliding and gripping.

So this is Driftworks!!

Hello all,
Names Wayne but everybody calls me Bizzle. Im massivly into the kit car scene to be honest but that just goes hand in hand with drifting some times!
I currently run a Raw Striker with a Black top 20V 4age. Stock power of 150ish horses.
Its alot of fun and I know it has alot more potential than I can give it.
Love the forum, lots of activity. I signed up because I have seen you fellas at various none kit car events. I also know that you lot love and know the 4age so will be a source of info when needed

See you all soon
