Introduce yourself here :)

newbie here

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

hi all,

i've finally found a home for my drift dreams

in short, im 23, live in heathrow, and i do IT support for a hotel chain in across the UK.

i have not done drifting before ( apart from gran turismo 5 :P )

but always loved the cars and drifting since i was a kid.

looking to start my drifting dreams towards the end of the year, so starting to save for a car as of now.

my idea was to get an e30 or e36 ( +/- £500 ), and drop a turbo bolt on kit ( £ 400 on ebay imported from US) i dont earn much so i cant go spending all.

what do you guys suggest to get me started ? ill need a car that is street legal.

cheers guys

Just posted a thread on here and doing a search I cant find any previous ones by me although I registered some time ago. So, apologies for that and to make amends very, very quick bio.

Middle-Aged (cough) circuit racer, never drifted competitively but have done some drift instruction. Controlled, none big angle drifting is a big part of circuit driving and as a driver coach I use drift venues and drift 'type' training as an element of race driver training.

Know a number of pro and amateur drifters and probably quite a few guys on here, mostly from big-power.

Havent been around on the forum in a while <cough> but stumbled on a post I could help with.

new Danish/Swedish member

Hi all.

I'm new here..

Been drifting this year and think I'm doing alot of progress during each event.. my goal is to keep my Skyline R32 GTS 1993 as a streetlegal driftmachine and so far it works very well :D

It's almost standard apart from Japspeed exhaust from the turbo

FMIC

colder spark plugs

Wallbro Fuelpump

Blitz airfilter

Tein Superstreet

HKS EVC

18" Ultralite Atec

Kaaz 1.5

Bride carbon seats with adjustable rails

Mishimoto radiator

alot of stuff like backseats and speakers has been removed.

Has driven 10.000km this year including 5 driftevent... and only had problems with two small waterhoses leaking. I'm impressed and absolutly love the car!

Cheers

Hi there, I'm faxij and I'm from Denmark/Germany.

Been into drifting for some years, but only dreaming. I'm still a student and broke. But when I can afford it, I'll get a nice jdm-rwd and start practicing. Also love photography, so once i can afford some nice tele-lenses i'll get into drift-shooting as well =)

Also very curious about the japanese ways, have been thinking about going there for a while now.. :)

/wave @ all :)

ah btw, i'm coming to bournemouth in a bit and will probably stay in the uk then for a while.. :)

Hi, I'm Chris.....erm.....not sure what to say...lol.

I and me brother in law are going for our BDC licence next year (we hope).

We (hopefuly) are buying a practice car this weekend, BMW 318i S.

Just enough time for everyone on the site to say "YEA GOOD MOTOR" or "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Wrong, Don't".

Cheers.
