yawn, thats a rule for people in the pansy world.....whats the problem, does no-one want to wake up and smell the coffee? We dont live in a world of flowers and pretty pictures and sunshine....its a bloody harsh world out there and you got to listen to what people say....why is everyone on forums afaraid to listen to opinions which differ from the norm.....is everyone really that narrow minded?
I kow that when I go to see a car, Id like there to be a full standard interior in it. Not 2 bucket seats and removable steering wheel. Similarly, i like to see carpet and doorcards...not wiring stuck to the door and the battery where the rear seats would be (just an example)....
I know I wouldnt feel that great handing over say 4k for a car thats missing half its interior, has got a welded diff, and rock hard suspension and a roll cage welded in. I wouldnt be happy paying 2k.....and essentially thats what some of these drift ready cars are....and to my eyes, thats raping it That car will never be the same again....
And drifting a car is raping it....Drifting is hard on an engie...just because it remains reliable, does not mean that youre not raping it....drifting surely does lower the average lifespan of an engine. And a clutch...and suspension components. If you take 10 cars from a factory and drive them within their intended design parameter, and take another 10 and drift prep them and thn drift them, on average, the 10 driven within standard parameters will have better compression, have used less clutches and generally be more reliable.

The most common mods on here are the ones that make the most difference and some are free! Such as stripping a car out. If you do have a motorsport deg then you`ll know light weight means better power to weight.
