Hi guys,

I just wanted to raise your awareness that the craziest drift event that this planet has ever seen, is just
around the corner.
Next weekend will be the finale of the newly formed "Driftmaster Grand Prix" series in cooperation
with the 5th round of the Eastern European Drift Championship (EEDC) on the Karpacz touge in Poland.
It's been 2 years since the last competition was held on this track as the lack of safety for the spectators has been a huge issue.

Just for reference some footage of 2012:

The new organisation has taken care of these safety issues and will provide a proper livestream as well.
11 cameras around the track will capture the madness, commentary will be available in 3 different languages.

Here is the schedule: (all times are GMT +2, so subtract 1 hour for British time)

Sept. 13th 2014 SATURDAY :

9:00 - 9:55 - Training group A
10:00 - 10:55 - Training group B
11:00 - 11:55 - Training group C
12:00 - 12:55 - Training group A
13:00 - 13:55 - Training group B
14:00 - 14:55 - Training group C
15:10 - Briefing
15:45 - Qualifications

Sept. 14th 2014 SUNDAY :

10:00 - 13:00 - Twin battle training for TOP-16
15:00 - 15:20 - Presentation of TOP-16
15:30 - Competition TOP-16

You'll find the livestream under: Drift MASTERS GP

excellent. fingers crossed there will be many spectator fatalities to enjoy judging by the educational promotional video :D

Spectator safety was the reason that this event hasn't been repeated since.

But the new driftmasters organisation has taken care of spectator safety, so this will be sorted.

Awesome. I hope the Livestream is good. Drift Allstars one is so jerky and slow its unwatchable, which is a shame as the event is awesome.

BDC one on the weekend was smooth as silk, but the action was a bit boring.

Ah, so this time they put 2 tyres around a pole instead of just 1? :D

Shame I'm in Germany myself drifting at the Nürburgring :)

I've watched the live stream of the first event they had going on and it was smooth as silk.
In fact I would be pretty surprised if they would mess it up. I've never wittnesed an organisation who put some much know-how, energy and money into their events. At least in europe the level of professionalism is unmatched.

Yeah I meant purely the actual live feed staying on and smooth, not constantly stuttering or stopping all together, which is what's wrong with the Drift Allstars one- It's so bad you can't even watch it.

can't understand I've never heard about this track before. Looks sooo amazing, wow!!! Almost like street drifting
