Lydden Hill......6th oct 2012

On regards to passenger prices.. As a driver, I couldn't care less.. Infact more the passengers pay, less I have to pay.. Passengers get it easy.. They don't have to pay for fuel, tires, cars, etc.. Lol

And stick me in the Fast group please...

Pro being???? BDC/allstars drivers etc:????

no not atall, its just for people with confidence and who have decent track/drift/twinning experince... and i guess who wont keep spinning out...

ps anyone want to hire me a drift car or know of someone who does that sort of thing local to the track?

Ok but if they are saying its going to be pro, intermediate and beginners. I'm not to sure what one to put my self down as. I have confidence and have decent track/drift/twinning experience but I don't class my self as pro, I've also been away from the track for 5 months.
If there is 3 classes then that's just stupid All that's needed is beginners and advance.

I'l just see what's going on when I call today.

Any chance of posting up who's booked in? I've booked myself and my friend but only one payment has come out of my account and don't want to turn up on the day and one of us be disappointed.

Lydden have decides the format of the day will be sessioned it will either be 3 or 4 groups depending on the amount of people the turn up.

Theres a few people whose card bounce when they tried to take payment, Obviously we know who they are but i'm not posting your names on the internet its just rude, so can u all check your accounts and those whose payment havent gone through can you make sure you bring your £99, you wont be charged pay on day rates.

As for passenger gate passes I think we're gonna have to run a list of names on the gate like the first time, so if you can all just pop a post up with your passenger names i'll compile a list for the gate.

Sessioned?? Booooo. My only other time at Lydden was sessioned and it really reduced the track time to tuning time options :( hopefully with less cars than the last sessioned one there will be more . . . sessions as it were

One thing that was well annoying (sorry to keep harping on about sessions) - I'd do two or 3 laps, come back to the pits to either adjust something, change tyres or just let them cool off - and the NEXT session would be queued up ready to go out on track - so I'd miss the end of my session. Not ideal

Do we get two or three spectators included? If so can you put down Keith Silcock, Geoff Clarke, Dan Newman for me please? Ta

Thats a certain I wont be going now.

sorry dude; but sessions aint ideal for me.. Im currently tweaking my car and just wont work with sessions :(

How about run open pitlane, if someones being a twat (like to think no one would be...); then have a word with them ?

and run a strictly "all-out-crazy-balls" once every hour for 10mins??

I too am disappointed if sessions are run, love Lydden but open pit lane is miles better as there is no pressure of missing your session if you have to come off for any reason. Especially if there's less cars this time, why sessions??

Joe Dunlop passangers Steve Jones, Tom Margerssono.
Open pit was one of the key sellin features to be fair! But not all that bothered as long as theres enough seat time.

Stop moaning and get drifting! You'll have plenty of time. Been to sessioned days at lydden and had so much seat time I couldnt change tyres fast enough. 8x 15min is more than enough for anybody. Open pit lane is great but you dont actually go out as much as you think you will.

As above 8 * 15 min sessions is more than you'll manage. Missing one or two doesn't impact you skid time any more than the usual issues on open pit days. Still prefer open pit mind :)

A question... The groups we gave on the phone, if on the day they're not flowing as we feel is right for our skill level/other people in the group can we be moved from one to another?
