they are a great start out car,and a lot of fun when you get them going reasonably fast.had a right laugh in my friends one,and when i jumped back in my 200 gave me a bitmore respect for people who drift 5's really well .

like i say really want any of the s chassis but can only afford a mx at the min but as i have been told on here and by mates they are a right laugh

After a drift experience I'am after a mx5 aswell and people say after drifting a Mx5 other cars are a bit simpler to drift. Who needs more than 2 seats these days
yeah I've been told that its easier to drift others after an mx5 too
na 2 seats is all u need more fun = less seats

no not had it yet will probs be in a couple of weeks time and then i will try out the mx5 asap after that

I had a mx5, it will drift but it is lacking on power tho I found
It seems im in a very similar position as you my friend. Im also 17, I bought a 1996 318i for 300 quid, put coilovers on it and welded the diff, im looking to take it to santa pod but its proving very difficult for me to get the car + loads of tyres up there because no one will insure me!? i dont really know what to do!

im quite lucky in the sense taht my dad is a mechanic so if i needed something driving to the likes of pod i could get him to drive it if i couldnt get insured on it but you do have a problem there i will have a briansorm and see if i cna think of anything
