I dont know weather to go 24v cossy / cossy 4l hybrid / 5.7 chevy (original plan) orr, me dads got a 16v Xe engine in the garage hes no longer going to use, fast road cams, forged pistons, and bike carbs and loads of other bits with it
first things first though, got to get it all bare metal'd and lead it
me dad has everything to put a XE in an escort, type 9 with bellhousing to suit, 4x4 engine (forged piston's, came out of his mates car, which was thrashed, but propperly serviced every few hundred miles) a set of R1 carbs and manifold to fit, big wing sump. and another head which has fast road cams, adjustable pullys.. and he wants to sell it
i think you should insure it as soon as you pass
and you should do everything that you was gonna do with the harrier but then changed your mind about lol just for contrast xD
taken all the loom out, and taken the last of the interior out (gauge cluster, and heatbox) and started to give it all a wire brushing, but we got home late, and a few people came over to have a look etc, so didnt get loads done, gonna crack on tommorow
just thought i would share this pic,
Got stance?
haha, dont know weather to throw up a build thread (as its not gonna be a drifter tbh) or just throw up the odd pic on this thread.
Wow, just found this thread as I was searching around on the internet and I was the one that originally started this build on this car when I was 17 but never finished it. It brings back memories of a lot of time in the garage. Did the car ever get finished? Can add some history and think i have some old photos in the loft of the work I did if you are interested. Any one know what happened to the car???
