Nearly all gone inside painting spare wheel bay and cleaning it all up im now desperately looking for a cage can anyone help?

Back of car now bumperless holes need to be plugged in. Also after a turbo tail rear spoiler to finish her off and yes i am gonna lower her a couple of inches.

The front bumperless aswell also would benefit from lowering. The holes left over are a bit to much so i am having the 2 inner rectangular holes filled and the indicators are going in the 2 outer ones and all painted and holes on the side of the wings are also being filled in Im also gonna remove the left inner main beam to make a scoop for the twim 40s once they are fitted :)

Love the interior after a new mountney steering wheel and not sure about having any sounds yet.

I paid £70 for pair of seats and sabelt harnesses and subframes so i aint complaining they need a bit of a clean up though.

Im gonna make som sheet alluminim door cards for these parts to cover them up should look good in the end. Does anyone know anyone who could make these cards up i doubt mine will look to good.

Thats a nice piece of work. Love to see it when its finished. The driver's seat is abit "loud", if you know what i mean, btu thats hardly a big problem.

looking nice, i like the looks of it with no bumpers too - cleans it up a lot. what about having no main beam? is that not illegal? i would do that to the BM but i will just angle grind out the rusty part of the front valance instead saves me some welding that way lol.

good luck with it. sorry cant help with the aluminium sheet but as long as you measure it accurately and cut so you leave yourself maybe 1 or 2mm around the outside, then just file it down on the edges. aluminium is easy to work with and file so have a go yourself. just careful not to scratch it when your working it.

I reckon you could just alter the wiring to the other lamp, and have a double-element bulb for dipped/main beam.

thought the angle/reflection was different for main beam? ie it had more spread and was higher than the dipped beam? or just rock chavvy foglights for main beam action wood-screwed into my laguna splitter to make way for twin red anodised air ducts :wack: :euge:

Good point man. Hmmm.

Theres deffinately a solution to it though. And no, it doesn't involve anodising anything :P

Big up the Crapi massive!

I love the idea of drifting mine, but i know i'd end up crashing it. :(
What engine does it have?

Capri's are the bomb dude!
I'm considering buying one together with my brother when we move to another house (some day soon i hope....).
Nice car, keep up the good work!

shes a 2.0 waiting on twin 40s to be slapped on next month hopefully and wild cam then i will save to have her cossie powered

Saw a cossie-powered Cortina at the 'ring last year... very quick! It had a disabled sticker on the back window, "A dog is for life, not just for Christmas" and beige velour interior.

Talk about sleeper!

Get a small block Ford V8 in there - Cosworth engines are for girls :smash:

There's an article on how to do it in an issue of Retro Cars, I forget which one, but I bet you it'd work out cheaper than a Cosworth engine too :)
