My Bad boy drifter Crappie

Wayhey! I have a Capri! Do go down the v8 route if you can, mine has a 4.0 rover v8 in there with various goodies attached to it and it goes excellently!

"Ain't no substitute for Capacity"...

Go for a 2.9 24v Cosworth lump, It's not a poxy 4cyl and makes all the right noises...

Now that is an idea, a great engine and you can pick up a knackered Scorpio Cosworth for feck all

I saw in Classic Ford an Anglia with a CA18DET. Looked fairly complex, but a pretty cool concept, different too. Could probably be replicated in a Capri.

I am starting a plumbing course soon in december so will have no income whilst im doing it so am putting the crappie away in storage in the dry then starting again middle of next year :( cheers for all comments

That emoticon sums it up so well. Looked like a mean project. Roll on next year!

My Capri started as a 2.8i but now has a 302 (5 litre) Ford V8 with edelbrock alluminium heads, cam and intake, Holley 600, Roller Rockers etc. etc. 300 to 350 Bhp. LSD, polybushed, AVO / Bilstein shocks, CapriSport axle location kit etc.etc.
However you achieve it 300 bhp plus in a Capri is very entertaining! I personally think a v8 sounds the best aswell!
I fancy a go at drifting it.
