my kouki 180sxs 13.4 drifter

so finished spraying at about 4-5am and waited till next day to see what it was going to look like and to be honest I was very pleased considering neither of us had ever sprayed before :-D

got her finished just in time for a blast down to matchams drift amigos, unfortunately on the way there I had a accident with the droung on the a303 and ruined my new bumper within 1 hours of leaving the workshop ;-/ but on a brighter note

unfortunately I hadn't tightened the GoSwivel (camera mount) up properly and it fell over,

so after I got a good colour match and nice repair I took it home an it dug in to my drive :( so yet another repair is needed in the exact same place im thinking about getting a new bumper with a lower profile

oh yeah and re sprayed the full rollcage!

right so since then I have made a few changes, after several clutch failures etc I have finally got one to last competition clutches stage 4 6puk, I have done a few lydden days and all worked well. then one day I was driving to work and I noticed that I had a misfire, changed the plugs, no change! changed fuel, no change! took turbo off and looked in the exhaust housing port an could see a small crack that ran from front to back so took it apart and was a little shocked what I found

so decided to spend a small fortune

new mildsteel steampipe manifold
new gt2871r with a little trick mod from cr turbos
some cams
new tial 38mm external wastegate
even bigger inj
oil cooler setup
new mocal inline thermostat
flexi downpie

unfortunately had a long while to wait, after this for mapping but eventually got it in to protuner and let Gregg and team work there magic with pretty cool results

was hitting over 430bhp but had to reduce the figures as still running stock internals and needed to be responsible

its been 10 months since I have been on a track so with this set up I hope it responds well to my driving style, should be at lydden 11/07/2015 so will update again soon

Unfortunatly she didn't do as well as hoped at Lydden the alignment set up was all wrong and she didn't take too much before the bodykit was battered beyond repair. For the next year she has been tucked away having little bits and bobs done and will soon be back
