Made guy
right, now ive aquired a new s13 im in two minds what to do with the drift shed! cant really afford to keep it as well, and thered be little point as ive only got two hands and feet.

so probably looking at removing a few drifty bits to stick on my new one and selling her on.

so basicaly im selling it as a drivable rolling shell

READ THIS PROJECT THREAD: http://www.driftworks.com/forum/proj...ft-biatch.html

some good pics of all the work done

i will say this, if your into mint condition perfect s13s this isnt for you! its dedicated drift car so its got a few dents, crap paintwork and not much interior. The engine runs like youd expect it after full nissan service history! doesnt overheat, no rattles or knocks. and absolutely no smoke of any colour. doesnt burn any oil or water either

Bodywork
it will be a pretty much standard s13 when sold as im removing the side skirts, front bumper is staying, and rear wheels are going(ill stick some prefacelifts on
De wipered
custom vented bonnet (angle grinded hole!)
well over £400 of welding done to arches and sills, other the last few months, aint gonna need doing for a long time! also undersealed
sleepy eye kit

It has a Toad immobilizer and spare fobs for it
Interior
One Cobra monaco seat on sliders and home made sub frame
Sparco harness
small nismo steering wheel
Fully stripped interior, sound proofing still in, with uber cool orange door cards and panels!
No head unit or speakers

Engine/drive
120k with FULL STAMPED NISSAN SERVICE HISTORY up to 111k which is a serious rariety!
Rebuilt T25 turbo from turbo technics, 6k ago with reciept
Blitz SUS induction kit
Straight through unkown exhaust, not uber loud but loud enough
Braided oil feed
New standard radiator replaced
New viscous fan replaced
colder grade spark plugs
Lowered on kyb springs

Bad points:
car has no tax or mot at the moment, i put it through an MOT last month and it failed on a few minor points. i still have the fail sheet, goes something like this:
one tiny patch of welding at the rear we missed out
the bolts that hold the rear ARB need tightening up as we forgot to when changing the diff
Front ARB bushes need replacing, i have a pair of APEX ones that come with the car, five minute job i just dont have a jack
rear subframe bushes need replacing
tailgate has holes in but hey dont they all!

biggest problem at the mo that needs doing is the rear subframe which is knocking like fook. sadly i didnt have the time to do it, still drivable though. this isnt a big job and you could simply just fit locking collars, probably an hours work however again i have no jack or the time to fix it.
Rear brakes got an advisory and after driving it today i think they probably need new pads as there making a bit of noise. but it still brakes fine and straight.

Anyway, there it is. A decent ish s13 with no major rust, a working engine with no problems and not too much to get it through an MOT. ive put quite a lot of effort and work into it.

just to save anyones time; im not going to deliver it anywhere as it has no tax and i dont want to risk it, wether or not you want to is up to you, i can put hand on heart and say it would definetly make it anywhere but if you get pulled...

however, i will be removing the skirts, . also be removing the rear wheels and replacing with standards.

so there ya go, jsut gauging interest as ive still got to take the bits off and put them on my new 13.

i think £400 would be a fair price, for that your getting a working (standard looking)s13 with no engine troubles and most of the rust sorted out. and a few light engine mods, bucket seat and harness.

PRICE £400

lol, well i was planning on keeping it but the s13 ive just bought was too good a bargain to miss and is already stage 2 and good to go so figured id sell this to raise funds for it

forgot to say car prob wont be ready till next wkend unless someone wants to trailor it away without a front bumper

I met some of the tramp drift guys at the retro rides show, got some great stuff :D

And man, I'd love to be driving a car with this much character around, hope you get a good buyer. (I'm very tempted, but dont have the space).

got a few people already very interested, just want to stress: it will only have standard wheels and panels, im taking off the front bumper and skirts.

this is will be doing as soon as ive gone to colchester to pick up my new 13, as i need to bring it back down first to swap parts over, prob be doing that on saturday so wont be ready to sell till sat late or sunday

Interested

Hi, im new to this forum allthough ive been lurking for quite a while

Ive been looking for a cheapish 200sx to drift for ages, and i finaly have somewhere to put it!

You have PM.

right guy came to look at it and aparantly the crank case oil seal is fooked as the idle goes to shit once you open the oil cap with the engine running, not something ive ever heard of so had no idea as it still seems to drive absolutely fine.

so unless someone wants to buy the whole car as it is for an offer, im gonna rip it apart this wkend and sell all the parts seperate.

Never heard of that before. Anyone know the score with what is happening there??

leave the oil cap on whilst driving? :dw:

my thoughts exactly!! id never heard of it either royal. although i cant be bothered with the effort of selling it anymore, seems to of taken up all my spare time people coming and going kicking tyres over parting with £400 for a track proven drift car! id sooner set the fooker on fire than let it go for less so just gonna rip it apart and sell it for bits, probably make a lot more anyway.

its not all doom and gloom though, the new s13 is looking good! spent the wkend sorting it out, needs a bit of work but overall its got a lot of potential!

Of course the idle goes to shit when you open the oil cap when its running. The breather hoses run into the rocker covers god dammit. And when you take the cap off you create a vac leak! haha.

i did think they were talking shite! the guy who wanted to buy it hadnt even seen this ad though aparantly a "friend of his" had told him about it, so i guess he was expecting a stage 3, pearlescent painted s13 for £400! not my matt black monster! nevermind, jokes on them, drove down 3 hours with a trailor!

Thats Shit Talk he either said it cos he kno's absolutely nothing about cars or he was trying to pull a fast one and get you're car for even less!

well he did offer me a staggering £100 "cos thats all its worth in that condition" but he must of been talking about the cobra seat and the sparco harness i guess.

actually edit- the guy must of known his stuff as hed spent £12k on a saxo, lol!
