** NEW WEBSHOP - Please read! **

kam

I've touched Chris Parry
You might have noticed that the webshop has changed!

We have litterally just swapped it over, so bear with us until its 100%.
From now on, if you can report any glitches in this thread it will be great :)

You'll need to reset your password to be able log in. The shop will email you a new one, you can find that link HERE.

Some good changes in the new system, you can view and edit orders easily and save additional addresses, just to name a couple of things.

The shop has changed too, the way items are browsed and ordered, as well as LOTS of new products to come :D

Check it out!

Thats strange.

Are you logged in or out?
What browser are you using?

rota wheels section doesn't work, says there's no products.

nice work though, looks cool and much better to navigate.
Thats a known issue - the new wheels section will be a bit special, so wont be launched until next week! if you need wheels before then please feel free to give us a call and we can put a manual order through.

1 thing on the shop and 1 on the forum, on google chrome a couple of items dont show a "starting" price on pages such at the FPR, Waste Gate and BOV i dont know if its been done on purpose but it looks kinda wrong when everything else does... Also on the front page it says some items start from £0.00, i guess nothing is free on driftworks lol

on the forum some of the drop down menus dont appear in the right place like when you have a new PM and try to use the drop down menu, Along with the Community and quick links...

Thanks for pointing out these bugs, some of them are on the fix list already but all of them will be addressed next week.

it still wont let me log in and buy anything am i doing something wrong renewed my password and eveything

Would you mind sending me a PM with your email address, and a password you would like to use? I'll manually set things for you and that should fix things

I am also trying to login and it just reloads the login page. No failure notice or anything just continues to reload. That's on I phone.

When you get a chance Si, could you try on a PC and let me know if you have the same issue via PM?
I've tried to replicate this problem on a whole bunch of computers and havent been able to so far

Its not a glitch but aesthetically I think that when you have the page full of items with the white background. It would look abit better and more seperated if theres were gaps between each item.

The new shop is definately a step forward: well done Driftworks!

Few things I thought i'd point out:

--The titles of the items: if the title is too long it just disappears under the picture so you can't read it. Not a massive problem just annoying.

--Can't see any of the braided turbo lines you do for sale (not sure if they are discontinued or just not added yet)

--The wheels section is really frustrating - I was trying to look at Rota Grids and each colour is listed as a different page which just means that the page takes aggges to load and you click through about 5 pages to get to the wheel you want just baecause each wheel is effectively listed 5 times. I also noticed that there isn't a great deal of offsets available (putting that down to it not being added yet)

A suggestion if I may: List each type of wheel in its own type, i.e. Grid, GTR, Slipstream, Boost but then very clearly state on the wheels page which colours are availiable, which sizes, offsets, widths etc etc. With a drop-down menu (as before I think). Just my opinion but I think listing each colour individually is a mistake.

With the old shop I would've happily ordered online although with wheels - i'd be very very inclined to phone up as it would be much more simple and less time consuming.

--"Nissan suspension from £2.00"..... a bit misleading/pointless really.

--As per the wheels.. every item with a different type/colour/size/angle/etc/etc is listed seperately. I.e. t-shirts have a different listing for small, large and xl. Even boost hose is listed 6mm, 8mm, 10mm etc.
What happened to the drop-downs????

Seems like i'm complaining now lol... i'm really not though. I'm just pointing these things out as i'm sureeee other people will be thinking the same.

:thumbs::dw:

Cheers for the feedback

You're right, the wheels section is frustrating currently :smash: That's cos our attribute system's not populated properly. Once we've imported the details for every single wheel, you'll be able to use the menus on the left to only show the exact type of wheel you're after eg: 5 x 114, 18", 9J in White. This will be a huuuuge step forward and will let you easily cut out anything that's not applicable to you and see exactly what you're looking for

Almost all the basic products are imported now, but as you've seen, some of the products like the tshirts need joining together into a complex products so you can see all the sizes for a particular item on one page and choose with drop down boxes. That's something we'll get done this week for most products :)

Braided Turbo Lines, good spot  I'll check out where they've gone to :wack:

cheers,
James
