** NEW WEBSHOP - Please read! **

Shop = complete fail on Internet Explorer Ver 6.0 :wack: no picture links work, can't add items to cart and have to use the left side bar to navigate. You could say upgrade internet explorer but i'm at work :smash:

Just thought i'd point it out :o

Sorry to hear that, but we are unable to test IE6 as none of the machines here have it installed. It is incredibly out of date and is not even supported by Microsoft anymore. Since MS have stopped its support, IE6 has been used to spread malware and genereal bad things... IE6 is full of security issues and Amazon actually ended support for IE6 in March entirely, which shows how serious the security issues are.
I highly recommend getting your work to upgrade to a more recent version (or a better browser such as Firefox or Chrome/Safari etc).

Peter I'm not sure what you mean. Can you do a screenshot? Each product should have a clearly defined border, and within the white box it is product title, then product picture, then product price and add to cart button.

I agree with what Peter has said.

Like I said in a previous post there needs to be more segregation between items above and below the one you are looking at as it gets confusing reading the item name and looking at the wrong picture.

Also in the drop down menus for example the "Tein Bonnet Dampers" the white box with the selection cuts off the writing so you can only see half of what it says.

same on the super low seat mount menu, cant tell what car your selecting.

Assuming you are talking about the drop down box where you select the part you need - I have shortened the titles which should make them easier to see on smaller resolution screens.

Still cant see what the car selection is.
Why have the same thing repeated 5 times, All you want on there is the car model not.

DW SL Side mount subframe (RS) - Nissan bla bla ect...

You already know its a seat subframe and its for a nissan as there is a picture and it tells you in big writing at the top of the page.
Just put

s13
s14
s15
r32
r33
ect....

Also what you could have is like many other sites now. Have a selection on the home page for. Choose your car make/model and it only brings the car specific items up. I know you already have a system a bit like it already in place but it looks more complex than it needs to be.

The reason why there is a product description is due to internal admin requirements. When your order comes through we need to know what product you have ordered, as well as which car it is for. This requirement will be changing soon as the shop progresses but for the time being it is required.
The choosing of car make and model will be made far more useful next week. This shop will be constantly evolving but we had to get the base launched in order to get this feedback!

ok no probs, what about putting the car model first then the description? Not everyone has big screens with mad resolution, I am a drifter so i cant afford those luxurys...lol.

I'll let them know :smash: Thanks dude!

You'd be suprised how many big companies worldwide still use IE6 as their platform, as a lot of their internal apps are designed around that, and its more trouble to update their apps than update their browser. Not as though that is a reason to work the shop around it, just thought I'd say. :wack:

I dont know if its been said allready but when you click on the drop down box to select which car you want a certian part for, you cant see all the writing,
So all you can see is Nissan 20 - or Skyline R3
so you dont know if youre picking a 200sx 13, 200sx s14
or r32, r33, r34 part until you have it added to your cart

edit: its been said allready:o oopps :o Still not sorted though:p

Noticed the dropdown box on all of the 'Driftworks Ultimate Oil Filter Relocation And Cooler Kit' is missing, also couldn't find the AE86 coilovers anymore are they just out of stock or are they being redesigned like other coilovers?

Cheers

A suggestion I have come up with only after owning a car that not many parts are available for. Ok, say for example, I click on engine tuning parts. I then click on Toyota tuning parts. I see no airfilters available, even though I know a 3 inch filter will fit my car, but I don't see any as there are no direct Toyota kits available at the moment/at all.

Would it be a good idea to have a 'View all' button either on the manufacture select screen, or on the left hand side bar when at that stage, for people who know they can fit stuff that isn't manufacturer specific? I know a lot of car webshops seem to do this manufacturer select thing these days but it gets on my tits, I'd rather have an option to see everything to browse through, then decide for myself what I can and can't fit.

Thanks Andy
We actually have plans in place that should enable this to happen, but its quite a big job so won't happen overnight. We plan to have all products visible UNTIL you choose to filter by manufacturer etc.
