My car, on it's wolfraces, looks a lot better than some of the Jap rims I've seen (advan three spokes, some vulks) Why must I conform to yoour standards. I like it and thats good enough for me!! The argument still doesn't hold water, just cause it's jap doesn't make it good

Hell yeah, I'm with you on that one!! I don't begrudge pet hates, its just yur two choices are worlds apart. One is a scourge on the media industry, the other is a matter of personal taste

, Jap style bodykits and wings on Nova's, Corsas etc., Any good .Or even stickers on cars for certain parts when they haven't even got any of them parts on there cars

Yeah, cos my 15x8 meshy Compomotive splits will look so shite on the Corolla...
I can see your point though Glen, with stuff like Chav-spec flat faced rims like Halford's stylee Fox, TSW, Khan etc. But quality stuff like BBS's can look properly pimp.
I'm also very partial to an old school Wolfie Slot or Vec. The Corolla should be getting some nice Wolfies in it's wardrobe very soon.

But, with wheels, nationality makes no difference to style. Jap wheels do not have a specific jap style to them. Stickers, don't get me started, I saw a chav in a fiesta Mk5 with a load all over his car and I pulled up next to him (in my S14) and asked what HKS bits he had. Prick looked a bit embarrassed and said 'erm....it's just a sticker' Me and my mate pissed ourselves and I left with lots of turbo and lots of ptssssshhh Nothing wrong with a thread about pet hates. But if I had said my pet hate was people who only put Jap spec wheels on jap cars, I would have, possibly, caused a bit of offence Mostly, I think we are in agreement, I just felt I should defend my humble Urban Racers Pulsatingstar

The whole 'jap style' thing bothers me. I cant even recall seeing a Japanese kit that looks anything like the shite they come out with. I think it should just be called Shite Style really. If you done it to a Jap car its still gonna look Shite!
