Opinions on price of this??

I've had a 7mge, 7mgte and 1ggte mk3 surpas and all of them are very capably at drifting providing you have balls for the two lower powered engines.

The 7mgte is hardly slow or under powered and considering its only 100/150kgs heavier than an s14 with 30ish more bhp, yet more torque , it's hardly weak by comparison.

Only major down fall they have is limited off the shelf chassis mods that don't cost a fortune
 
I know they aren't as good as the alternative 1j but I don't understand the beat down on the 7m. I found it a pretty potent engine (granted I've gotten used to a stock mx5)

This was my thought.
There is one guy here that I can remember years ago, an engine builder by trade, he put a lot of effort into building a 7m powered Mk3 drag car. he sang the praises of that motor no end.
 
The white one? Pro Performance or whatever? That was in the 10s or 9s at Pod with a 7M deffo.

1000bhp+ has been done loads in other countries from 7M. I hear the head doesn't flow as well as a JZ, but clearly is fine for anything we will ever want in drifting if it's capable of 4 figure powers...
 
Yeah that's the one, it's obviously a capable engine in the right hands. I guess its the same story as any underrated motor, there will be a few pioneers with it but the general community won't catch on because it's too much of a risk to start pouring money into rare/expensive parts.
 
Wow!, a lot of ego gets thrown around in a forum that's supposedly meant to be for like minded car enthusiasts, coming together for the love of a particular car sport.

Nah man, I remember coming on here years ago when I had an s13, and there was a lot less hate/slate, this site amongst a few others where really about helping/sharing instead of assuming and swearing blind that black is white.. but, seems like some of the bad traits from other forums have creeped into this site, shame really.

Back to the start of the thread, that is a lovely supra although i would try to get him down a little.

The rules are fairly simple on this and almost every forum, dont act like a retard, don't get treated like one..
the inverse applies in earnest.
 
7Ms get dropped by most for the same reason the CA does, they are quite sensitive to bad maintence and have a tendancy to shit themselves when not taken care of. I think 7Ms have a tendancy to blow headgaskets and have pretty poor oil channels as standard

One thing I know for sure is that it's not a good idea to discuss with idiots...they bring you down to their level and beat you with experience...Luck with drifting a MK3 7e stock supra...The automatic will be perfect for your goal...

You really need to learn to read things. As it as been said about 10 times, its not a stock power 7mgte mk3, its a 1jzgte powered mk3.

And BTW your obviously into bmw's which have less power and drift worse than mk3 supras !

I'm sure it's important to know such things for the man who didn't know why you have to eliminate the vanos to get 400hp from a vanos 323/325 Vanos/328 BMW...
One thing Mr. Block - intelligence doesn't depend on countrys...You have it, or (as seen in your case) you lack it totally even beeing "from the isle of bollocks", as you in your smartness call your country (just admitting you're a bollock, but insulting others millions of people having no guilt that you're a such a thing)...
