Engine lifetime generally depends on how much power and boost you run, the porting, how you maintain it and if an auxiilary device or something fails when your on boost.

ive owned 3 and never had a single one fair on me

There are a million different things to factor in for engine life. It's not much different from a typical piston car. You take care of it, it takes care of you.

I've been fuckin' around and driving these things since I was 15. I've yet to have one just totally fail.
