today, sunday swap day :D, removing ka24e.

depressurized the ac, took off the ps lines, had a small problem with the manifold pipe, 2 bolts were jammed, so had to separate the manifold from the engine, and took the exhaust aside, kept the gearbox hooked, cuz dont have all the tools i need, i was short on so many tools, but its good, a good mechanic can manage anything :)

ka24e out, tomrw, cleaning all the engine bay, putting a dohc power steering lines, new bushings for steering gearbox, t28 with manifold new gasket, turbo snail new gasket, and down pipe new gasket, then droping engine either tomrw, or the day after, hope the wiring wont be a pain in the ass, but its cool.

thx tom, yes indeed, well most of the drifters built their cars with low budgets, i personally dont want every racer to be like this, but i really want people to realize that, even if ur dead broke, the enthusiasm and love for the sport, and the feel u have towards those machines, will push u to build with low budgets. thx for following guyz... will keep u posted soon :) i was sick for a couple of days, so hopefully tomrw il be better, and il get the engine bay and front end ready for spraying :D

well, my luck cannot get any better, the ca8de on this 200sx, is actually a ca8det, but they removed the turbo, and placed an na manifold, people here dont know how to take care of turbo cars, i knew abt the engine when i was checking the oil and water feed lines on the block

tomrws work :
-swaping welded diff, drive shaft rom rex to suki
-swaping the front 2 springs
-finishing engine bay paint
-paint cam covers
-swapping rear spoiler
-cutting ka left engine mount, its stuck and doesnt wna come off,
-steering gearbox bushings
-removing the shitty (P.R.N.D.3.2.1) STICK.
and hopefully il get the clutch and the gaskets i need to fit the gearbox and turbo on the engine, and finally drop it, wire it up , and ignite. thx for following boys, and i jst nt wait to finish suki, to start with the jz-13 project full build, water jetted, striped tto the bones on rex:)

took off center console, took off the e-brake, sprayed some WD-40 to loosen it up, and tilted the e-break abit, gives a better grip and feel while pulling it.

-fit rear lower strut bar
-fit drive shaft
-fit front springs
-swap rear rims
-cut off the engine mount and fit the other engine mounts
-hopefully get the clutch + gaskets to fit the turbo and gearbox on the engine and drop it.

-fit 2 front springs
-swap real rims
-fit driveshaft on gearbox
-install boost gauge
-install head lights
-install all clutch pump on the clutch
-fill gearbox oil, engine oil, p/s oil

-redouble check everything i did, start engine.

rule number 1, make sure the breather at the back of the rocker cover on the right hand side is in good condition and is returning to the bottom end, they're prone to deteriorate and starve the bottom end of oil, as the heads on CA18's breath heavily. also, strange intercooler pipework run, will you be able to still use the viscous fan and shroud?

here im just checking the ignotion module from the red sx, but i havent found any diagram from the ignition module or how to install it on the ka stock fuse box, so tomrw im gona plug it out, and add its current fuses and plugs all together

thx for the advice on the breathers, but didnt quite get what u said exactly, can u plz explain ? thx, and i will change the location of the pipes, they are gona be fitted on top of the fan cover and sitting tight nxt to the radiator, but here the fuel purge tank is in the way, il fix that too, and plz dont forget to explain what do u mean about the breathers.
 
back after alot of work, never had actual time to go online, anw heres the last pics and updates
disconnected the dash to check why there is no positive on the ignition key
