R33 GTST rev and speed limiter

There's a sensor on the clutch pedal as well, but I'm not 100% on if this is fed directly into the ECU. It is possibly sent to the HICAS module

What scenarios does it hit this 5k limiter? Car moving or stationary? Clutch in or out? Can you take a video of this limiter?

You don't have anything to lose by cutting Pin 53 btw. If it doesn't work you can just solder it up or, crimp connectors on.

It happens when the car is in gear and while driving, it happens in every gear and it can sometimes feel laggy at around 4,000-5,000 rpm

Hi mate took my car out just up and down the road didn't seem to limit it but only used first sorta ran out of road
