** Remmo Niezen joins the BDC starting at Norfolk Arena this weekend! **

The only reason that front inner wheel locks is when turning in and slowing down, the weight comes off that wheel but the braking force stays the same causing it to lock. If your not on the brakes going into a corner, your not going fast enough :wack:

lol I'm pretty sure that car has a left/right brake bias controller though, it was doing it when the braking/slowing wasn't that aggressive. Locking up 1 front wheel on that weight car on cut-slick style tyres every lap...

...I could be wrong. Either way, it worked awesome :)

Yep your wrong lol, did you see the size of the brakes on it?

Look at this vid of my car, with stock brakes, the inside wheel locks, but the leading one does not as the weight is on it.

Can you explain a bit more how that helps if the inside wheel locks mate (trailing wheel yes?) ?

Cheers dude, I remember the debates a few years back for and against. I like mulling over the dark arts as well, so interesting stuff :)

I was wondering why he kept locking the front wheel (I could only see the inside wheel from where I was). I presumed it was so he could keep the rears lit whilst scrubbing off speed. He seemed to drag that front wheel a fair way around the corner, only when chasing though. When leading he was gone!

I noticed the HUGE brakes. The rears were just as big too which I thought odd.

Anyone notice his camera/screen setup?

Yep, pretty sure he had it at jdm a couple of years ago too. Really handy for rear clipping points and he doesn't have to turn his head towards wing mirrors lol

The thought and planning in that car is definitely on the same level as the DW s15- not just a bmw with a V8/V10 dropped into it!

He didn't have cameras hooked up but he had the screen inside, and the wires could be seen along the roof and spoiler. I have a cockpit shot somewhere.

Amazing driver, certainly showed me a few things! Lol. Not sure anyone got close enough for his braking to be a problem anyway.
