you try working on a 50 year old 909 radar set or adaws that is a giant computer which takes 20 minutes just to load up correctly..neither is fun wafus have it easy

dont for get most of the lynx fleet in the rn is over 20 years old.

all the mk8's are just mk3's with a conversion.

you should see some of the wirelocking on them eekk

the engine's for them aint to good either. spent three years building,repair etc etc them too

tell me about it..our mk3 has spent more time in bits this deployment than anything on the ship doesnt help when a certain officers sprays a magnesium transfer/gearbox in fresh water...doh
wafus do have life easier though...no 24/7 cleaning, get to live ashore in theatre...im just jealous

yes lynx does need a few due to the fact the engines were never designed to sit at a angle due the the seals in them only sealing when they have air on them
