roxkiham 2nd may bank holiday

I had a similar issue but more I was waiting for a post to pop up which never did, my mate sent me a link to tickets and I managed to get 2 in my basket but when I got to payment I got an error and it said sold out

Where you booked onto the original rocki drift event?

No I was not, cant get a drive anywhere as you have to camp on the computer or smartphone to secure and be in the facebook gang...

Sad times, I can remember events were the hosts were threatening to cancel due to the lack of paying punters. I moved to the midlands 2 years ago and I was hoping for better access to decent events but its best up North.

What the F*** happened to UK drifting, who is responsible?

Who went off here in the end? I loved it, got so much driving time car gave out an hour before the end though

I was driving the R34 4door.

I sucked big time in the morning and started to work it out a bit after lunch. I have not Drifted for over 3 years and this was the R34's first ever drift event so we are pretty much both beginners, but even so I absolutely loved every second and its totally got me hooked again.

I need to go again and again.

The event was perfectly run, great start line processes and some very good drivers too...

The only thing I would change is the last corner, to flow nicely after the transition the car wanted to go way off the painted line, not many followed the designated path and it was hard to loose the speed and get the clipping point. Maybe it was me been a dick behind the wheel so I gave that clipping point game up on the last corner and just gave it manfoot at the end instead :wack:

It took me about 5 runs to get use to the s14, so diffrent to my old bmw.
I also loved it too, proper hooked will be going to them all if they do more, would say I enjoyed it more than drift matsuri at Rockingham.

I managed to get the last clip quite well, I was carrying quite alot of speed from the second corner, then off the power transition and was letting it slide back towards the tyre barrier the a few clutch kicks had it lined up for the clip

Though I found when you where in a 5 car train the clipping points went out the Window
