Jites friken owned that day! :D Blew up several boxes, swapped them track side and still did some decent skids.

For an almost bog standard RX8 minus lock mods, welder and coils. It was fully capable. :)

When didi I run a welder? ;) OEM torsen dude!

What's the deal with suspension arms on these? Are they similar to the FD or FC as far as suspension design or a whole new kettle of fish?

If the mechanical changes really are as simple as coils and some lock mods then this is getting very real

Tempted to sell the S13, keep a set of Advans, hunt out a healthy high-spec one and bank some coin

The front is double wishbone, similar to RX7/MX5 the rear is a 5 arm multi link system, more like an s body. easy to get arms for though and they do handle amazingly with just some coilovers and camber arms. We make lock mods which I used and as you can see by the pic mint posted they give enough for the power of the car

Watch for the 6 speed box as its fragile, the cheaper 5 speed is a better choice for abuse. stock diff is also fine until you can get a 2 way for it. decat the exhaust for massive flames @9000rpms.

I changed my oil regularly and smashed it round a track lots until it finally died a death but it was a high millage mk1 rx8 so it was to be expected really

Thanks for the info. I was wondering about the same info. My friend is getting rid of his RX7. I made up my mind to buy it from him after reading this.
