S13 Silvia (minter)

Another PS13 owner deciding to keep! :worthy:
Just so you know your not the only one feeling the pain of a full drift setup silvia on the road. Half of Glasgow is shut off to me due to the super stiff suspension& ride hieght not agreeing with the crappy roads. There are a good few people that I cant visit anymore due to impassable speedbumps so I know how annoying it is.

But its sooooooo worth it when I send it sideways :)

Its just abit annoying when your being as careful as you can and it still catches on stuff:cry: think I might have to try 195/55's on the front instead of 50's.oh and a big fmic of course:thumbs: then mabye play with some more boost,then uprate all the bushes then...................mabye not and spend it on the cossie:smokin:

Mate, its the bollocks, its gotta stay. As much as you love your saff, the Silvia is 10001 times cooler :smokin:
 
Ive swapped cars for a couple of days with a mate,he phones me up half an hour after leaving shouting"your car is a fucking fanny magnet",parks it outside his work today calls me again,"people keep stopping and taking pics",

Im enjoying the creature comforts and boat like handling of a scooby uk300:thumbs: ,its nice to drive but couldnt own one EVER!!

Starvos,I love the cossie to bits and know exactly what you mean the silvia's just cool as fuck:smokin: ,wont ever finish the cossie if I keep the silvia but dont really mind cause its all worth it after all...............now where did I put that bleed valve:cry:

Yes mate,just had another phone call saying my cars funny cause he had to do a u-turn because it wont go over some speed bumps:cry: .his scoob goes alright down some local lanes:rolleyes:

Do your tyres ever catch on the arch when drifting it?,or does it not get abused:euge: looks sweet on them rims mate:thumbs:
 
It gets abused in a controlled and purposeful way! Nope the tires stay clear always no scraping. Arches have been cut to provide clearance so rears are totally fine althogh I have made the fronts ever so slightly scrape when on full lock on iffy bouncy corners :p
 
The evo is low too. Cusco zero2R coilovers with rays engineering alloys & 215/45/17s scrape at the front. To be sorted tho:

However it of course doesnt run stretched tires which helps my PS13 clearance. Would be blasphemous to do that on a rally slag.

I could be tempted to sell mate,but I love the car so much and its a perfect drifter,but the cossie is crying out for uprated gearbox and diff and beam and..............
