It all started back in 2010, i was 21 daily was a mega gay fiesta, Drifting on grid on the xbox in the evenings and watching those crazy touge videos on from japan on youtube, Had a half decent paying job at the time and with a little help from family this happened...

1999 Nissan S15 Spec R

Spec
Hks coilovers
Hks exhaust
Fmic
Bov
Oil catch tank
Turbo timer
Cusco strut brace
Spitfire ignition coils and the white wheels which i didn't like so i get them to get me stock s15 wheels and i didn't like the side skirts so they went also.

Pics are of the car in japan that i was sent from the importers i used (torque gt in devon) can't rate them enough for the customer service and every thing was made easy with regular updates on the cars location, With the deposit paid then waited a few months for it to come over on the boat, (longest wait of my life) they put it through an mot and next thin you know I'm on my way to devon to pick her up.

On getting there the car was outside looking epic!! smile was around the other side of my head, Took for a test drive and was good until i put my food down and as it started to spool there was a small pop and no boost at all...

So we took the car back to there garage and they took it to have a look what was going on, they where unsure, they swapped the ignition coils with the only one they had (spitfires) and the problem was the same, so after a few hours to no avail i agreed to take the car on a gamble as I'm not a mechanic and had no idea at the time, also they knocked some money off the car.

Made friends with a local guy who also had a sick s15 drift car (Richy200) and he had a look for me, We took it for a spin and soon as it wanted to boost pop and no power was just like driving an n/a, boost pipes where fine and on closer inspection just after the air box there was a rubber ribbed hose that had collapsed!? Bit odd so we pulled out the kink and tested it same pop noise and that hose had collapses again (starving the engine of air) learning this car stuff slowly lol

Ordered a new apex hard pipe and took it for a test drive, It hit boost in first gear and shat myself, most power i had before was a 60 bhp fiesta lol, It was mental and tbh i was scared of it...

So drove it for a few months then booked a drift day in November at santa pod..

More to come soon on my history on the car for anyone thats interested lol also more pics :)

Booked my very first drift day back in 2010 and done a few things to the car before going,

Full service

Nismo engine mounts
Poly gearbox mounts and had the subframe powder coated

Best day every at my first drift day!! until the way home...

The water line to my turbo gave in and water/ steam everywhere, got recovered home and the car was off the road whilst i saved up for a few parts,

Braided turbo lines
Turbo elbow
Manifold
Car was sitting a few months and finally got the parts fitted then i heard a small knock coming from the engine, on closer inspection the spray bar to the exhaust cam had blocked resulting in my cam being ground down and metal filings thought the block! i was devastated, but due to my lack on knowledge it was my fault, So over the next year the car was just sitting there, is i didn't have the money to fix it and didn't want to sell her, so i have an idea for the distant future that i would sell everything i didn't want and keep a rolling shell in the hope of one day building her back up to her former glory...

So in that year basically everything was sold and this is how she sits now

Wings
Bumpers
Bonnet and boot
Doors have all been sold

and sat like this from early 2010 until now...

BIG NEWS!!

Secured a dry place for her to chill,

And done a buy!!

As of last christmas i was reading build threads, watching jap youtube stuff (surprise) and found myself looking at engines and the like, Next thing i found i had done a big buy from JDM Distro over in Ireland, The parts where still in japan so had to wait a while for them to come over but was worth it :) pic to follow

Hadn't touched the car in 5 years!! About time i done something with her

Engine didn't come with a starter or a P/S pump but have since sourced those :)

More updates to come and i hope the pictures are working now?!

i had the kit from Nengun and I've emailed them today so will let you guys know whats happening soon, i paid extra for uber insurance so hope we can sort something out other than that I'm landed :)

Progress on the s15 will likely be slow now with the drift day only weeks away and christmas but the plans for next year are...

Collect parts

Radiator, intercooler, bonnet, doors, then save for some welding get the vertex kit on the car and get some paint on, will start looking more like a car then

Long ever due update...

with getting our first home and have if a baby the s15 has been on the back burner for quite a while,

during this time devoted to sell the 1jz and r154 and with the cash bought a sr20 det out of an as15 from jdm distro

then I wanted to have the engine bay and underside sand blasted so started stripping it down to a rolling bare shell.
