Sam's new Drift car. JDM haters stay away :)

Thats an EGT gauges sensor I'd say. Going by the wire being covered in heat protective braiding. The only sensor I have with the same braiding is the EGT .

You might have gauges you didn't know about!

Whats an EGT sensor, and where should I plug it in?

Sam - that sensor will be for a gauge of some sort to read out EGT = Exhaust gas Temperature. Mine plugs into the downpope just after the turbo elbow.

Hmm, so i need to trace that wire back into the car and find which guage it goes to.

Cheers guys.

probably been nicked at the docks then. not exactly unheard of. check they havnt hidden anything up inside the dash in or behind the glovebox etc. as most shipping companies with any sense hide goodies away to stop them getting pinched.

by the looks of my car, it had lots of bits pinched from the docks. definelty missing a harness as my side has no seatbelt or harness when it arrived!

on the ps13's wev seen loads of stuff hidden down in the rear quarters you access through the boot, you can fit loads of stuff down there and is generally safe from the more pikey of the dock folk.

Not much of an update really.

Smashed the side-skirt in half at a drift day when a tyre blew up, so set about fixing that:

Not very good, but better than nothing I suppose.

Also smashed the front bumper into a couple of bits at the last Santa pod day, and more paint fell off.

So because Halfords couldn't identify the paint for me, I asked B&Q to do it :D

They mixed me this up. Now I just need a painbrush and some laquer :)

Bought this today:

Hoping it's going to fit with the Nardi boss I have, otherwise I'll have to get another boss.

Car is with Brad at the moment, he's rewelding some of my exhaust backets, and welding a nut into my downpipe so I can finally attach my exhaust temperature sender:

Did some skids at pod:

mental. thats suspiciously cheap though i have to say, but i guess even it is a copy, shouldnt really matter, a wheels a wheel. good find. half considering chopping my naardi in for the same thing, as would like a bit more dish. though not quite as jdm tyte lol!

Bit of research later, and I'm unable to find it anywhere else for less than £110. With some places selling it for up to £170.

Probably guarunteed it's a fake then. Oh well. We'll see how long it lasts.

thats what i was getting at, never seen it under £110. tbh it might be just as good, looks ok from the pics (assuming thats a pic of the actual product) not like it has lots of internal working parts to break! will be interested to see the quality when it arrives.

that said, id hold on to your naardi till it arrives!
