Engine and gearbox in the chassi together. Looks like they were made for each other. A little adjustment and it should be fine :)

Made up a gearbox mount by modding the existing one . Also changed the rear crank deal before putting the gearbox on. Next time the engine is in to stay. :)

Hats off taking such a new chassis and making it a drift car.
Wouldn't want to risk the cost of replacement panels if it was me.
 
Shame the soarer has gone, but liking the new build. Have the alloy pulley made any noticeable difference.
 
Thanks guys :) yeah I've felt some times like what am I really doing with a chassi this nice. About the pulleys I haven't really noticed anything so far. And the lower is going to be swapped for a balancer instead.

Got a bit further with rad and ic mounts today

The first gen mark X (X120) is mechanically identical to the petrol XE20 IS model

But it's pig ugly - i have to stare at one every day. If you can get an IS the same price, do that. Looks 100x better
