Steering wheels

That's wierd. I bought a Nardi wheel off ebay for £32. Didn't know they were good at the time, I just thought it looked nice. Now it's on I'm impressed with how strong and light they are. Mine was off an Evo so I had to machine a boss to get it onto my Datsun though :wack:

I'm still amazed by the quality and craftsmanship of the Momo.
I used my previoues wheel in 2 cars and not a sign of wear, after almost 3 years.
 
I have a Nardi in the Orange,

Not quite as old skool as some of the pics, but I will be getting rid of it soon as I have ordered a nice Sparco like James's picture. I used Alex's the other night and it was much more suited to me.

And yes, the yellow marker thing is useful - precisely BECAUSE you are too busy to look for it, you just notice with your periferal vision, hence why its such a bonus. !!

Oh and Im getting a nice big spacer/wheel removal kit so I can have the seat a tad further back to avoid the rollcage some more with my fet and still be able to reach the wheel - bit of an issue at the moment as I dont ever feel fully in control.

What are people preferance on size, I used to have a tiny momo in my old cars and loved it but they were FWD so never tried drifting with it.

The sx wheel is massive, so whats best smaller or stick with a normal size one.

I just measured a standard wheel and it was 370mm :eek:

I got an OMP one fitted now 330mm

The orange has indeed got a lumunous orange snap on screwdriver for a gearstick - far cooler than you can possibly imagine !!! lol

I dont feel that Steve takes an unnecessary beating, its just mother nature at work !!!!
