We do a fair amount of custom braided hose stuff for customers, I'd have to look into the hose you've described, but once you know sizes etc, let me know and I'll get you a price :)

cheers mate, the kit looks great. Will let you know once I actually order it :D

you say you make custom braided lines, might be after as set for an ae86 and a clutch line aswell, what sort of prices am I looking at (approx)?? PM if you want

Phil,

Can you guys do this kit WITHOUT the oil cooler core and sandwich plate, just the relocation kit with the hoses for a Redtop SR with the different thread on the oil filter??

Cheers

Thats exactly the same kit I've got for the GTR... but do you think I could find a filter that fitted the remote head thread? Could I fook.. What filter should fit? Just a normal S14 SR20DET one?

It's an M20 x 1.5 threaded filter dude. S14 one will fit, but I'd go for something a little larger, 350Z perhaps if you want to 'keep it in the family' :euge: :)

Guys, we can't really split the kits as most of the parts use a different thread to the standard MOCAL Imperial stuff so chopping and changing will cause fitment issues and hassles we'd like to avoid.

The plate and filter relocator i'm looking for shouldn't cause hassle as the only threaded bit is the plate that bolts to the standard oil filter threads on my block/plate which are the standard Nissan Redtop thread.... whatever that is. Think it's the same as a Nissan Micra going by the oil filters i've been getting funny enough :D

very good bit of kit and at that price a good buy aswell

its the same as the trust/greedy one and works very good and makes oil changes a peice of p**s

Yeah, we looked at some of the cheaper Chinese kits that you sometimes see knocking about on eBay, but we weren't at all happy with the quality in terms of finish, longevity and consideration for oil flow :wack:

These ones are cracking quality and much better thought out

Nelo, you're forgetting the thread for the fittings and the braided lines, which is different.

If its the same as mine (takes an S14 filter) then a Renault V6 Champion filter fits and is available with the one way valve in it. :)

In my experience it will mean that you have to use slightly less than 5litres when doing an oil change :)

Another quickie, I meant to ask James at the weekend but totally forgot.. What size fittings are the aeroquip 90deg adaptors? I need some of those.. :) nudge nudge :p

They are -10. We can get a price on them seperately, but just so your aware, the last time we ordered -8 90* elbows they were around £30 each :wack: but we might be able to get them cheaper now :)

i have to import them from the states as they are that expensive more like £35 for the red and blue ally ones, silly money

I'm seeing if we can get an extra box of fittings flown over now, hopefully be with us in a couple of weeks and will be a lot cheaper than £35 :)

Just fitted mine, it is indeed super posh. Cept for one bit i mangled with a spanner. Thats now Paz spec. haha. Good kit :)
