Couldn't find an electric shop ANYWHERE in my area (near Bangkok) that had what i needed... or even understood what i needed haha, SO I cannibalized the old gauge cluster i wont be using.
Didn't find the 100 ohm resister that i needed but i did score a 70 ohm and a 30 ohm bing bang boom soldered inline =100 ohm resister!
**resistor needed to make the alternator charge, wired inline to the small red/white wire in the 2 pin connector on the alt. this wire is normally for the warning light in the dash **

Ah unfortunately that was a very temporary work space, it was a body shop that closed after we had terrible flooding last year. Brought some lunch in to lube the deal and talk to the owner who was happy to let me use the roof while he finished emptying out the shop. (it now sits un used by anyone 300 meters from my apt, what a shame!)

Yep Sr20 transmission inside her.

Little pic of the start switch and fuse box all wired up mounted atop some sticker bomb.

Tie rod spacers almost finished up.

using E46 lower control arms, e36 rack and tie rods (inner and outer)

Not bad, I like this.

How is the drift scene in Thailand? When I was over two years ago the place was flooded with Cefiro's and random VIP Toyota's. Are you able to run the cars low over there? I thought that our roads were bad until I had seen some in Bangkok. Out of the city roads were ace though

i cant believe this hasnt had more comments :O

properly dedicated and skillful build so far, enjoying it :)

still a grip of cefiros and yes the roads are truly death for low stiff cars... With that said F*K it haha

Thanks for the kind words my friends ;) looking forward to moving forward with the BMW

Really nice matey I finished my sr20det to E30 last year and love it wished I had done conversion much earlier than I did this really is a great and easy swap to do keep the updates and pics come I have loads of pics of mine if you need any help or info matey.

That is MAD, man!

I have seen many of those BMW drifting but they never said wich engine they were using (so i simply thought they were using their own engines or some sort of sourced BMW engine). For me your build is a 1st and i am liking it a lot!

Interesting new Aero piece Velocity Element offered up for some testing. With a bit more cutting on the rear bumper, exhaust and the addition of the Vortex generators the rear aero should look quite aggressive and actually function a bit ;) (once installed and not held up with a jack that is) haha...

Still not 100% how much of the rear bumper i want to remove, as it sits in the picture i intend to move the top of the diffuser up to the body line on the bumper but then again could always go something along these lines (how the rear bumper is cut high all the way around)

Very little time to give the old E30 the love she so badly needs... Nonetheless things are indeed moving forward. Some how found my way into testing out one of these! (guess that means i need to put this car back together to get on with some testing!)
