alright guys firstly by fruit i mean my username, im not gay lol.

secondly i joined you guys for a bit of help so have already made my first post! however i like what i see and read so sticking around :)

im in the market for a supra shell at present and have a 1uz waiting to go in it. of course it will be given a nice big present of two gt35r turbos running independent FMIC setups with a syvecs ems and megasquirt fuelling. plus an additional set of fuel rails for the big power later down the line!

anyways thats me, i have spent the last 3 years with mr2's and had fun, and although i will return to them at some point im moving into something else :) that and drifting seems fun

take it easy guys

Hey fella!! you sound like a man with a plan sounds good be looking forward to see a project build thread if your doing one :)

Haha yeah mate!! Good luck with it all sounds abit like torettos garage...... has a friend called Jesse done you a CAD design of what the car should look like? If you get overnight parts from japan??

Megasquirt AND Syvecs? Eh?
Twin GT35s? So going for 1000bhp+?
4 fuel rails? Not seen anyone bother with staged injectors on a turbo car aside from on Methanol for years as you can buy 5000cc injectors these days, and 8 of them on normal fuel is good for about 6000bhp, a little more than twin GT35s would give...

Not sure how running 2 engine management systems, one good and one cheap and crappy, on one engine, will help that.
Not sure why over complicating things with 16 injectors will help either.
And 2x GT35s will drive like shit unless you really need ones that big as you going for 1200+

No one ems system and a completely seperate fuelling system that's why I'm using the two ecus.

And the two garrets will be mapped to come in seperate

A) for economy mode

B) for high boost levels later

So you're gonna run Syvecs for 8 injectors, and then, despite it being capable of running 16 injectors on its own, run a wanky Megasquirt that won't know what the Syvecs is doing, to run 8 more, when 8 injectors alone is enough to handle twin GT35s totally maxed out?

Need more than mapping to make the GT35s boost separately, fuck me, a sequential setup, esp with GT35 sized turbos, on a V engine, will be some ridiculous amount of pipework at the front of the engine, or rear mounted, or something.

PS- You do realise 1 GT35 or 2 boosting has nothing to do with economy don't you? It's a performance thing, to improve low rpm power, and TBH it will be more economical without a sequential so it's easier to run totally off boost.

PPS- I don't think there's any such thing as 'economy' on a turbo V8 no matter what bizzare tricks you use, and the cost of all these ideas mean someone who could afford that doesn't need to care about economy.

PPPS- Please tell us more about your plans.

Plan 1 - re educate you on my brand of sarcasm ;) I don't know in what world 4.0 v8 would be economical with or without turbos :)

I'm aiming for 600-800bhp with this, if you think I will achieve different now is the time to say before I decide to unleash pennies on this

You seem to have no idea what you're doing or on about.

600-800bhp but on about using about 1200bhp of turbos and about 10,000bhp worth of fuel system, and two totally different ECUs for no reason at all, and seem to be on about building a sequential setup for it too.

This does kind of sound like a 14 year old boy.

Much appreciated!! What a welcome......

So your telling me you haven't heard of systems using seperate ecus for various things???

I am not set on the dual fuel rail yet it's exploratory

And as for the twins . I have and always will like the 35's and intend on running two of them.

It's advice.
As what you've said so far either sounds like lies, or you're about to be making a ridiculously huge and expensive mistake, many times over.

Two ECUs are totally redundant these days when one ECU can do it ALL. And using one high-end ECU and one tramp-spec ECU makes no sense at all.

There's no logical reason for dual rails unless using a total dual fuel system, one pump fuel, the other meth or similar.

And twin GT35s in normal form will just drive like crap when you're only after 600-800bhp (you're basically putting a single 600bhp turbo on a 2ltr that you're looking to get 300-400bhp from), and a sequential setup on a V engine using two GT35s would be insanely complex and pretty much no room for it in a Supra or anything normal sized in fact.
