Lol. To be fair I don't think I ever actually worked on that car, I worked on the pre telegraph pole version :D good job my looms are plug and play!

To be fair I'd buy it if I had the money.
 
If anyone could reccomend a good insurer for a young person on an S13 i'd be very gratefull! I know theres a few people that manage it, but where!?

I fully want it.

Sky were good for me, if your a student try Endsleigh although theyre not good with mods. also try A-Plan

BTW, if you buy this i will hate you for ever and ever!!!
 
try elephant and just declare the obvious, with limited mileage and maybe add your mum on the policy to bring the price down even further.
 
Flux couldn't get it under £2000, and elephant were similar.

Screw it, I don't even care about the future now. I'm gonna see what it's like as a named driver.

well this may be me being a ditzy girl, but what would it be insured under, a UK s13? with some tweaks here and there? as i got a quote for a s13, only £800 fully comp!!

mine was just under that fully comp for a year, with a few mods, alarmed and garage kept! couldnt belive it, but just got my s14 last week, tons of mods and it cost me £20 more for the year!!

It is a UK S13! just with a ghetto front end and some other odds and sods. ;) £800 isn't a bad quote. dooooo eeeeet.... :nod:

awwww i cant right now, need to know if i got this job before i get a loan and i got a feeling it'll be gone by then, i've also been advised not to jump from a 1.7 volvo to a SR20 lol which is a fair point as i'd get too excited and ditch it :wack:

so without wanting to upset anyone.. would everyone else insure it as a s13 or would you state the mods, engine, front end etc?

Well you know my stance. Insurance companies should be treated like mushrooms. Kept in the dark and fed bullshit.

(I feel the need to give them the same level of respect they give us)

And technically its a silhundred, and the american equivalent a silforty, funny how they all get called sil80, just easier I guess.

Try Hyperformance insurance.

And lie, lie like your life depends on it.

Its garaged, and whatever your best quote so far is, tell them its a few hundred cheaper.
 
yeah, just lie. and if you crash make sure its not into someone elses property and its not so bad you can't limp home after:D

Fair enough, with the amount they've mucked me about today they deserve F all, never ever use Endsleigh!! Just hope i dont crash bad enough to not be able to get home!
