Driftland big corner.

Standard 1.6 115nhp model with 1.8 welded diff

My second practice day yesterday, 1.6 with coilovers, welded diff and rack spacers :)

Nice work. As you was coming up to the first corner I was almost ready to get angry for seeing yet another person wand it in to that corner, but you initiated properly, and linked the whole lot up nicely too.

Good shit!

Cheers man, it's annoying sitting in line and just watching everyone drag arse into corners, I think the only people I didn't see doing it were my two mates who were also in mx5s

Went to Teesside again on the NYE day, directed my efforts at the big track this time instead of sticking to the small one like last time. Unfortunately it was wet and my car felt absolutely crap, the lack of grip made me way less confident but I still had loads of fun.
Oh, and my downpipe decided it didn't like being attached to the manifold which sort of threw a spanner in the works but other than that, good times haha.

Nice work! What psi were you running in the back? I did a wet drift day at oulton in my 5 and it had bucket loads of grip on the front and back. Think I needed way higher rears!

Had about 38-40ish in the rears, trying to keep pressures high enough for the dry patches that were dotted about and low enough for the wet patches. Last time I used about 55psi on a dry track there so figured I'd go somewhere half way between that and a 'normal' pressure. And I was down to about 24psi up front to try and get some grip out of my nankangs which didn't seem to make much difference :(

So i know you said you only find FI videos... but just throwing this out there anyway - this is footage of my second skid day and the first day i had in this car. Supercharged with an MP45, MeisterR coilovers, full SuperPro polybushes and torsen 4.1 LSD, hope you enjoy - i know, the whine does my bloody head in too...
