That depends on a carefully engineered formula based on how long it's been here and how much I need it :D :D Any rims that stray within my boundary are fair game in my opinion. Maybe I should place a warning notice by the entrance?

Quite simple for me really dude.

Im exactly like everyone else here.

Im a car nut, a speed demon and prefer the smell of burnt rubber to after shave !!! lol

I'd rather go to a car show than to a pop festival and Id rather have a nice car than a cool wardrobe !!!

I spend pretty much all of my money and then some on motors, and I love the pleasure they give me. I also feel incredibly down when they "stab me in the back" and they affect my mood as much as my relationships with my closest friends.

Basically Im a sad tosser like all the other people on this forum !!! :D :D :D :D

I count myself extraordinarily lucky as i have a wonderful fiance who lets me get away with murder, helps support my "habit" both financially and in many6 other ways and generally doesnt make my life very hard at all despite me being obsessed with 4 wheeled money pits !!

I guess at the moment I am going a bit overboard in having the cars I have and spending so much time and money on them. Two of my cars are having work done as I speak and as soon as they are done i will find something else to spend money on (in fact I just have, its black, german and pimp as fook !!! :D )

Right now I suppose I am making up for all the bad times and vast sums the skyline caused for very little enjoyment in return. Yes I can say Ive done 200mph, I had one of the fastest road cars in my area and not that many in the country could go alot quicker. But I went through hell and back with that car, and now I guess im trying to maximise the enjoyment i can out of my cars. Although ironically the show, which was born from this love, is now taking up so much time and commitments that I barely get to use them at all.

In fact i bought a set of 19" rims for the audi the other day just because one of my existing tyres was illegal !! Afterwards I wondered why I had done it - all I could figure was because I wanted to have some fun !!! lol

I guess a few peeps are reading this and thinking I must be a total loony, but in reality Im just a car nut !! lol

:D :D :D

J.

fair play mate, id have shitloads of cars and spend cash on them to...if i wasnt broke as fuck hahah.

sorry adam for total thread hijack just put it down to a very special/involved thread "Bump"

Im exactly the same mate just on a tighter budget :D , yes were weird , if we were normal we'd be in bed with are women (grunt).

But were not im currently buying some wheels for a starlet that has no back arches and no rear panel no doors and 1 front wing :wack:

Fuck it , i could have pissed all my money up the wall (Euge) since i was 16 but instead ive had 60 cars and counting and enjoyed every last minute of it :wack:

Sad i know but true

Right im off to bed to see if i can get a cuddle

I have a set of four 6x14 Revolution 5 spokes...

revos.jpg

I machined them to take ordinary alloy wheel nuts (3/4 sleeve nut) so no special Revo nuts needed, plus the nuts are recessed now. Two as as shown in the pic but the other two are currently all black as I haven't yet polished the rims back up after painting them. I'll flog them for £150 and I'll polish them up and fit some tyres (drifty rubber but road legal) inclusive :D

These wheels.. do u reckon they'd be a bit small for a fully lowered bluebird? id be lookin for the euro look, deep small wheels (14 or 15) stickin jus out o the arches with perhaps stretched tyres... with the blue slammed on them...
thankingyou for advice :) also, how much u think it would be to get the spokes painted gold/ yellow?

What sort of Bluebird? For that kind of look you really want at least 7x14. These wouldn't be wide enough for that style. You be best off getting a set or Rewinds or some Compomotives in 8x13.

the 80's shed of a thing.. the saloon ........ i was thinking they wernet too wide like ... jus 2nd hand deep rims in 4x114 are so hard to come by! Im looking for minimum budget!

Ah, a 910. I know where there's a tidy one of those for sale  910's use an offset like an S12.. sort of semi FWD almost so any zero offset rim will stick out the arches if it's a 7j or more i reckon. I used to have one with 6x14 slot mags on it..proper old skool, lol:wack:

that looks a lot nicer than the one i was refferin to .. i meant the real shed

Ah, that be a T72  You don't want that it's FWD...you want the lovely old RWD one like I had! :wack: Seriously though if you get one get a turbo or executive ...waaaay nicer than the ordinary ones.

Scimitars are the same stud pattern as Datsun BTW...and that Bluebird :D

thanks ratdat, defo the rwd looks nicer, but im after turbo power, and its like the cheapest turbo car to insure ever, and seems like with a little effort and a T25 will be more than fast enough! sorry for the huge hijack ^_^
