There's alot of mouth about fakes when 90% of this forum is rolling on fake Nismo/Volk wheels etc whats the difference?

As far as fakes go this watch is a bargain compared to paying 75% of the price of genuine wheels for fakes

There is a difference between buying wheels labelled Rota and a watch that is trying to be passed as the original thing...


You can't compare someone trying to pass a fake as original and someone copying a design to sell under a different brand name.

How can you even compare the two?

Seems the chap was just trying to sell "a watch", not rip anyone off (price was a bit high, maybe, but it's hard to judge the quality of a fake/replica from some pictures).

He hasn't done anything wrong per se Danny, but if you put up your 'replica' GTR spoiler for 9 times the price it would cost to buy new then I suspect people would feel the same

I think you guys dream up these scenarios with people suddenly ripping everyone off. so everyone can say epic thread, post some internet related internet pictures stating how this is special we are all part of something.

It was a watch, its too expensive. dont buy it.

for the record i would have happily paid that for the watch...if i only had wrists

If you place ANY item for sale, genuine or fake, at 14x the price it would cost to buy new people will think you're taking them as some kind of mug. It's like advertising a pack of Space Raiders for £14!
