there should be a tyre guy on site in the industrial estate there is a guy that sells part worns

im not drifting but might take some of my wheens down if people need some spare rims i got x2 17s and some 16's i think

i dont know how many people will be in the play pen so might havew it to urself

the trtack though is built to cater for everyone so newbies will be fine there is nothing to hit at all only cones its surround by acres and acres of grass

the white box with the ring around it is a the trailer for a artic lorry just to give you a idea on the size of the place its HUGE
 
I was talking to compact dreamer yesterday after he spoke to his boyfriend Dan and he said it's a mental course I had better look for some more rubber! Just hope the weather stays like Uris at the minute! I can't wait!
 
Cool - all looks good for my 1st time. Glad there is nothing much to hit. Whats the deal with having a 2nd car there? Not for drifting, just somewhere safe to keep a jack, impact gun, spare wheels etc and probably the missus lol

Also might seem a daft question but how do you get to/from the play pen without interferring with anyone drifting the track?

Glad to hear there's a tyre changer. I've got one but the bloody things in newcastle! Will hunt for more 16" tyres then.


goto www.bing.com and you can get a birds eye view which gives you a better angle so you can see the height of bushes and grassy patches in the area. Looking forward to this.

its not daft as i was thinking the same thing! unless there is a cut through road we cant see off the map!
 
Aslong as we are allowed across the grass thats fine by me. Thankfully mines not lowered so less chance of ripping off a bumper or sumthing from a divet or sumthing lol.
 
looks good, one request from me is that we have a nice long run up as i want to test my new knuckles out. i take it the long bit of the run way is the start finish straight?
 
To clear a few things up......

The entrance that will be used on the day will be through the industrial estate. Its just up the road from McDonalds and on the day there WILL be signs. Its dead easy to get into.

Having a 2nd car there is fine, but remember on the day spectators will be charged £5 (so if your friend is driving your second car he/she will be charaged £5 on the gate)

there is plenty of long run ups up new knuckle will get plenty of use trust me

i wanna see some reverse entries at the top of the track by the play pen

Gutted I missed coming down on Saturday Dan, I didn't have a car. Looks like I missed out.

Will you be up at the unit tonight? I have one Rota and an R32 bumper I would like to give back if that's okay.

The other wheel is still being used for my coursework.
