whats your 2014 project

hoping to put my motor from my ls430 daily into my e36 coupe, may not happen till next year tho depending on time since i have a full time job again now

Been reading some older threads and saw this, time to revive and see how everyone is.

My projects are:-

R35 GTR - fast road and track use... constantly being improved/changed. Recently remove the bootlid and spoiler and went for a duckbill bootlid. Also had the first part of the custom rear spoiler done - all stealthy! Next is more on the spoiler, some front downforce, front brake ducting (to keep them cool), possibly some new discs and pads and maybe some track wheels.

350z - currently the daily... but still going in for akebono brakes (from the 370z), BC coilovers and some 18" wheels. Will be used for drift once I dont need as a daily.

There will be at least one more car, still negotiating the deal :)

Finishing this even tho its also been a 2011, 2012 and 2013 project and I WILL NOT ADMIT TO THE OTHER YEARS!!

^ That looks fucking cool!

I've got an R32 gts sedan with an n/a rb25 neo engine, it's gettng a td06, link g4 ecu with a flex-fuel setup so I can run varying blends of ethanol. Should do 400hp @ wheels pretty easily on E85.
It's got gts-t brakes and hubs at the moment, but I've got a pair of Audi rs3 brembo's to go on the front (with r33 gtr discs).

Should be a bit of fun when it's done.

The plan is to get it running properly now. Shes's a bit further on than that picture. She's does run but tick over is really high at the moment so need to solve that. Her heart is nothing crazy yet, just a Rover V8 3.5. Its got a bolt in cage, been fully stripped back to the metal, fireglass front with panels blended together. Fire walls been moved back and the engine lower than they normally are in these.

It should have a pretty close to 50/50 weight distribution. Exhausts need finished into side exits and the electrics need the lights finished but otherwise she's almost ready. Diff welded and suspension polybushed with new race springs all round.

I'd like to have had her ready for this Retro Ride weekend that's not happened.

Sounds like its has progressed quite a bit from that photo.... any more?

I'm hoping to have some sort of missile finished by the end of 2014. Either an R33 Skyline GTS-T or a an RX-8. I love the Skyline, but part of me keeps forcing me into looking at the RX-8s on eGay.

Bumping this to see how people are progressing :D

GTR now has new brakes going it, killed after a 4200 mile roadtrip :) currently looking for someone to help with the making of the front bumper (currently have a spare bumper) and the rear spoiler - really struggling to find someone.

350z has had the brakes done, 18s, BC coilovers and Cobra exhaust added. Ypipe is now blowing, so need to fix that... Currently looking for a rear half rollcage and I will then start stripping the rear of the car.

Deal has been negotiated, 2x MK1 Ford Escorts on the their over here :) 1 is for me, will keep it if I like the car... the other will more than likely be sold. Teaser pic ;)

Buy a diesel C35 Laurel and swap in a freshened RD28T and set it up for towing the S13 (and for doing huge burnouts).
Go halves in a car trailer with a mate and set it up for low cars by using airbags.
Go on huge roadtrip with a couple other guys to the South Island (in NZ) and drift the tracks down there at the end of the year.

Next year:
Swap RD28T for a TD42T
