Which would you choose?

I don't really know what it is that makes it happen (oil issues, but what, I dunno), and obv' a decent baffled sump and accusump will help, but the amount of them that fuck up in a real short space of time (here and the USA) when drifting is incredible.

One LS tuner in the States I tried to buy an engine off flatly refused to take my money without a dry sump conversion for one once he knew it was drifting, despite having no problem if it was a track (or road race as they call it) car.

good to know, thanks

Having thought long and hard about this........... I think I am pretty much decided on the way forward. Im going to finish off the white escort and sell it, that will then fund a few small mods to the 350z (extra wheels, diff and maybe some seats and harnesses) as well as starting the project of the blue escort :) which will be stripped down, repaired and rebuilt over winter.

After a chat to a friend with regards the diff, the ones I am looking at will keep the car streetable, trackable and driftable :D
