I don't really know what it is that makes it happen (oil issues, but what, I dunno), and obv' a decent baffled sump and accusump will help, but the amount of them that fuck up in a real short space of time (here and the USA) when drifting is incredible.
One LS tuner in the States I tried to buy an engine off flatly refused to take my money without a dry sump conversion for one once he knew it was drifting, despite having no problem if it was a track (or road race as they call it) car.
