i used the one off my old s14 which was the apex type 2! when i take the s15 off the road for a ground up rebuild ready for BDC next year i will change to the through the battery tray type. yea your right if i had the other type i could fit the visc!

Turbo response is no different to my old s14 with the other pipe route type!

I was driving at Drift-Inc at pembrey on sunday. Here are some pics. I was giving passenger laps for the public all day.

Good news was that my overheating issues have now been fixed with the new rad.

Bad news is my turbo studs came lose/ snapped on track which made me lose all my boost/power

This lucky passenger asked for extra laps so it was expected that i would end up here on the last lap! (just one more wont hurt lol)

No chassis damage just cosmetic

Ps i love my back lights now

Took the car for a blast at pod! it was ok considering i have no oil in the rear shocks, dodgy gear box and fucked diff/frame bushes!
Roll on fitting all my new stuff

which are

poly eng mounts gear box mounts, alyy frame bushes, aly diff bushes, new coilovers, new steering arms, new kit, roll cage

Im being chased by a turbo charged ae86. My gear box is on its way out and was giving me trouble to select second on a down change.... hence the spin as i had no drive lol

Its not to bad tbh just feels abit floaty....... the back end is sagging etc and i was getting alot of vibration (like axel tramp) in 3rd but i was happy with it holding up lol.

Cant wait to solid bush it all now wit should feel so much nicer.

Yea man i was well impressed with your 86 i was looking in the mirror and was like that thing has a turbo ..... mint! its just a shame we couldnt get a few more laps in due to my stupid spin! Need to check my box as i may be somthing as simple as oil level but is was a pain to get in to second but only on down shift..... odd....

Any plans for the 86?

Cheers dude! Not really got anymore to do on it now, just free off the sticky spring platform and wack on Paz's old Wats I've had in the garage for the last 2 years lol!
Need to try and keep it alive though, the gearbox sounded unhappy after Saturday, don't think it was appreciating the 3rd gear 30mph clutch kicks!

Well Its the BDC licence day at silver stone on sunday and ive been busy getting the car ready for it.

Ive fitted :

Poly engine mounts
Poly gear box mount
Ally diff bushes
Ally frame bushes
New HSD rear coilovers

Test drive tonight! then new alignment friday! wish me luck

Solid bushes are the way to go, love the feel once they are fitted, so much more direct and predictable

you sir have pissed me riiite off!!! i just passed up a set off super low offset 2 piece volk racing 2 piece 3 spoke wheels for my s15 because i wasnt sure it would work..... then i come on here and see your beast! and they couldnt look more sexual haha dammit!!..

haha sorry man! yea as soon as the advans whent white it looked awesome!

i have machined my steering arms down by 8mm on the ally end nut (that goes into the rack) and added 2 spacers (1 each side) given me the same if not more lock that the tien arms give.

Sadly i span in my last 2 judged runs on the BDC licence day didnt spin all day before that also! TWAT!! Had so much fun though!

Last weekend I took the car to Drift-Inc Session at Pembrey! its an awesome track so try and go there guys!

Really happy with the car and how its driving now!

To start a nice full lock 3rd gear entry dirt drop . They had extended the track allowing massive entries to the top corner .

Time for a spanner check on the car and then off to Silverstone sat for the ODC finals!
