4 rotor ae86 build

But 26b N/A is probably one of the most insanely awesome noises a machine can make. No video does it any justice. When your standing next to it, it's REDICULOUS

i thought mad mikes engine was made out of 12a's and not 13b's cant remember where i read that though.

As for the OP. How much power do you want?

wow shit i didnt think it could cost so much to make it, i thought it was a simple case of mating two 13b's together.

I recon it could be dont fairly cheaply. Really depends on how much power you want tbh and super charging would probably be cheaper than turboing.

I cant see why supercharging would be cheaper. More like more money.

Cost wise its always going cost about the same, you need the same parts, the porting itself etc that changes the power isnt the big costs.

Cant see much need for forced induction if quad rotor anyhow, esp as its going (if any of this at all existed and wasnt just a forza kids dream) in a sub 1000kg car.

crank alone for a 4 rotor is mega bucks. i think that ae86 in the vid above is a 3 rotor pp turbo.
i want a 3 or 4 rotor so bad lol, but they are expensive not only to build the engine, but then get it running aswell.
ive spoken to a couple of tuners regarding the sort of cost and your looking at over £30k for a 4 rotor.
but tbh that isnt really that expensive, escorts i used to build running 4 pot piston engines used to cost £30k for an engine (bda, bdg etc), and julian godfrey charges £53k for a cossy yb engine running 550bhp. any specialist engine costs an arm and a leg to build really.

Ditto, and he has actually built a working 4 rotor PP engine for a customer that worked, not many people in the UK can claim that they have done that :D

The one for the guy in scanidinavia that produced pretty low power and he was a bit dissapointed with?
Same as that PP 3 rotor that is 100bhp down on what the plan was.
Working is one thing, producing peformance that makes it worth the money is another.

thats not down to the build though to be fair, thats down to pips shit mapping skills, i was there when they first started it up and also when they were tuning it, if it had been my car i would have not been impressed.

i mean who the fuck runs an N/A rotary engine in the 10s on AFR!! and has the afr graph go up and down more than a essex birds pants!

Hence i live 20mins from him and ive never let him touch my maps, i do all my own tuning, funny how he said if i try and run 20psi it will pop within 3 seconds, well ive done some tuning at that boost and its fine, the torque is very impressive for a rotary!

oh and I have just bought a Suzuki cappuccino, does anyone know where I can get a Boing 747 engine from :euge:

hahahahahahhahahahahahahahhahahhahahahhahahahhahahalololololololololololololololololololollo
love kids and there dreams aye. Here in NZ PPRE a company that builds rotor motors and the people that built mad mikes engine sells complete quad rotor engines for $60k nz, so thats just for the engine. You must have won quite a bit there pal!
