its amazing how much bullshit that pipes up when rotarys in general are mentioned, let alone 4rotors.

if you are serious about it and have deep pockets, kiwi-re, green brothers, cls motorsports and the curran brothers all offer 4 rotor services, shoot them a mail and find out the expenses involved!

The one for the guy in scanidinavia that produced pretty low power and he was a bit dissapointed with?
Same as that PP 3 rotor that is 100bhp down on what the plan was.
Working is one thing, producing peformance that makes it worth the money is another.

Please dont post about things when you don't know all the facts.

You are talking about my build and one that I also know a huge ammount about as I was there is the 3 weeks, yes 3 weeks from start to finish of the quad built.

The plan with my 3 rotor and how I was sold the 'headline' power figure was 450hp at about 9k rpm and seeing as the last mapping session made 440 at 8500 I would say thats spot on personally especially as more fine tunning is planned over the winter.

As per the quad I know for a fact that before the power runs the car had done about an hour running with some very low load so going balls out with a massively expensive engine would be kinda pointless.

Also if JT was so upset/disapointed why would he be building a whole new FD from the ground up to home the quad in?

thats not down to the build though to be fair, thats down to pips shit mapping skills, i was there when they first started it up and also when they were tuning it, if it had been my car i would have not been impressed.

i mean who the fuck runs an N/A rotary engine in the 10s on AFR!! and has the afr graph go up and down more than a essex birds pants!

Hence i live 20mins from him and ive never let him touch my maps, i do all my own tuning, funny how he said if i try and run 20psi it will pop within 3 seconds, well ive done some tuning at that boost and its fine, the torque is very impressive for a rotary!

Thats kinda bull too Lee as the first time I ever met you was at Pips as you were getting some work done on your car.

Also you should know Lee why JT's afr's were that high as you were there when it was being tuned and knew how little running the engine had been able to have.

You can think what you want guys but when you have some facts and know the builds then you can coment.

Not trying to get into an inernet war with anyone just when people are attacking my car and a good friends build aswell as a company that have put a huge ammount of work into a number of very high spec builds that work, dont die and get used on a regular basis.

Pip and the guys at WGT are more than tuners to me there are all personal friend too.

If anyone wants any info on NA rotary tuning PM me or talk to Pip direct on the link Brad put up.

well if you think that the crank is expensive you can always make your own. :smokin:

I read your build in Banzai mag when it was featured...it upset me. Pip had my car for a few months and I got it back with 420rwhp...18 hours later I was paying for another engine. RX Motors diagnosis of the list of faults was long and damaging.

Now I'm not slating Pip cos I could see his quality from the work he did for you...in fact I think it was a Banzai article that prompted me to go to him. What I'm saying is everyone has different experiences...unfortunately I had a bad one that cost me thousands of pounds.

As for the 4 and 3 rotor debate...I'll supply 20B 3 rotors for £2,400. There are plenty out there is my point...get one of those and whack a big turbo on it.
