Your all thinking about this from the wrong view. Its not too nice to skid its just too nice to learn in. Your always gonna crash when learning. FACT!
 
Not true. I never crashed my mx5s, few close calls but the worst I ever did was a couple of cones, few bits of delam etc but nothing major.

The only people I see crash are driving beyond their skills

So you've got an 14 built as a show car, a 14 built as a drift car that doesn't work and a half built bmw.

If the drift car doesn't work or isn't reliable, just fucking sell it. While you're at it, sell your show car to! Hard parking is for fags and you obviously want to drift.

Use the money in the above sales to put I to a drift car that works, enjoy life. Easy.
 
You don't need 500hp to learn to drift. Especially when the thing doesn't even work as a result of the work done to it. Get rid of it.

Anyway, a 500bhp S14a? Did you not think to learn to drift in it as it was before adding all that power to it?

I can skid, just not a tandem all out type person. Plus unfortunately I'm not someone who does things by halves!!
Plus the few weeks here and there I have had it workin it's AMAZING!!!
It says see you later superbikes!! Gotta say apart from being the biggest C¥^+!!! I've ever met, Martin Batty certainly knows what he is doin when it comes to tuning!!
I just haven't had the chance to develop my super sideways balls!! Hence buying the Beamer.

Dude just go drive your car, chances are you won't smash it up unless trying things beyond your skill level, you'll have a shit load of fun however.

Worst case is after a year or so it looks tatty and needs a few bits tidying up, hardly worth crying over since everytime you drive your car on the road you risk a granny in a micra smashing into you, so going by current worries maybe you shouldn't drive it at all and just park it up in a garage permanently...
 
I learnt in an mx5, yeah I bashed it up but only ever at places like Birmingham, places like pod the only thing you're likely to hit is a few cones or another car.. Ive just bought an s14 as a daily and tbh I need to get myself to a drift day to learn how to drive the car properly, otherwise I'll be out in the pissing rain one day and I'll end up stacking it as I'm not used to the power/the way the car drives

Anyway rant over fair fucks to all those who skid their show and go balls out. I respect that. But not for me as a lot of love and money has gone into my show car just destroy it!!
However it's got to go, end of an era.
So for now gonna finish building the e46 drift missile and get skidding my s14 again if stays working lol
