Dilemma

Gotta say all the people who moan about this thread and gun me, what the hell else would you be doing in your lame lives??
This is the 'chat' section so chat not bitch!!
Anyway rant over fair fucks to all those who skid their show and go balls out. I respect that. But not for me as a lot of love and money has gone into my show car just destroy it!!
However it's got to go, end of an era.
So for now gonna finish building the e46 drift missile and get skidding my s14 again if stays working lol
Thanks for some helpful comments peops

Dont take it to heart - You come on a Drift forum with build drift cars that you tell us you cant drift, incase you break them. That sir is the definition of a Lifestyler.

If I smash the front end of my JZX100 while im drifting.. I will be financially pretty worse off and i'll have a non working car for who knows how long.. Does the put me off? Not even a teeny tiny weeny bit.. :) I never go out on track/street with the mentality that I will crash and smash my car up.. thats how it happens ;)
Silvia's are really common thats probably why people dont understand. Probably why I dont understand either lol.

Just do what you wanna do man but if you ask for opinions on a public forum and hate the replies because, well its hard to swallow. Then dont make threads haha. :D Most people on here love to abuse cars and make loads of noise and drama, its in our nature. :)

That right there is the number one fact when it comes down to "Ooooh, I don't wanna damage my car" issues that people don't realise.

Crashes happen, 99% of the time, due to someone worrying and not committing hard enough.

Go in a bit too light as you worry, and you'll be on the cusp of grip, so it will easily snatch back, grip, and chuck you in to a kerb/wall.

Most crashes on track I've seen have been due to this, and almost every time I've been close to clouting a kerb on the street myself it's due to this- Only ever nearly fucked something when I get to a corner and think "Hmm, shall I?" and do it too half-arsed, so it skids then grips and trys to throw you off the road. Never once when fully committed or sideways have I ever been close to smashing. Spinning, fuck yeah, but spinning on your own axis rarely hurts even on the street.

Almost all (in fact all) damage I've done drifting is down to me trying to get close to things and getting a little too close, or tyres delamming. Otherwise it's usually lack of commitment, worrying, that causes the crash IMO.
